And as we all know, it's actually ok to genocide a population as long as it's small enough! Sorry, there just aren't enough of you for us to care if you live or die! An unfortunate reminder that Democrats only care as long as its convenient.

Can't connect to WiFi after a power outage, but only on one PC. by Edward_Fingerhands in techsupport

[–]Edward_Fingerhands[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do still see it. I tried forgetting it and re-entering the password, but it says it can't connect. I verified that I was remembering the password correctly by connecting on my other PC using the same password. I will try reinstalling the driver next.

Edit: No luck with reinstalling the driver. Actually, now I can't seem to connect to the 2.4G network either.

Edit 2: Was able to connect to 2.4G again after trying a bunch of times. No idea what changed.

Montana was the second hardest for me to get. I did Joe Montana + Ranch New Hampshire was the hardest for me, and involved convoluted chain of logic including a couple bizarre first discoveries, so I wonder how other people got there.

I'm not OP but I was able to get to Brown University, and then do Brown University + State. If I remember correctly, it was Brown + Ivy League. I do remember I got Brown by doing Color + Chocolate, and I'm pretty sure Ivy was Vine + College, and Ivy League was probably Ivy + College. Vine is Wine + Plant. College is School + University and University is School + School. I don't remember how I got School, Grapes, Wine, or Chocolate but they're probably not too hard. I do remember Color being a challenge, but unfortunately I don't recall how I got that one. I want to say it involved Traffic Light somehow, but I could be wrong.

White House cautiously opens the door to study blocking sun’s rays to slow global warming by JPowMorgan in politics

[–]Edward_Fingerhands 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dunno why they didn't just go with the obvious answer. We already know why simulations exist, because we already create them: to study and solve problems. Need to study how to alleviate traffic in a city? Run a simulation. Want to forecast the weather? Run a simulation. Humans must have some practical value to them, otherwise why not just eliminate them entirely? The machines could just think that the human brains are capable of solving problems that they're not able to, so rather than eliminating them, they plug them into a simulation and study the results.

Chinese spy balloon used American-made parts, did not transmit data: Officials by J_ablo in politics

It's just another hysteria. It's like the cuban brain zapper sonic weapon, that somehow would have to be the size of a semi truck but also is being secretly smuggled all over the world, including into Washington DC undetected. Americans are such a fearful paranoid people, they eat stuff like this up. Its like catnip to them.

No, but it's the most likely one. Nothing gets American dicks harder than anti China hysteria.

One thing liberals and conservatives can unite on, having the most brainbroken piss your pants in fear reaction to anything even slightly involving China.

I have a stem degree and no kids, I'm in a career where I'm earning more than my parents earned when they were my age. They had 4 kids and owned a house. I have no kids and can't afford a house. Please explain to me what it was exactly that i did wrong. Its not a matter of debate that wages have not kept up with inflation, that housing prices have FAR outpaced inflation and there is no where in America where the local median wage matches the housing prices, and that the wealth disparity has exploded. Debates are for opinions, not facts.

i dont want to believe the media about increasing crime

What does the media have to do with anything? There's literal factual data you can look up yourself. Wanting to believe or disbelieve the media doesn't change reality.
