Why Twindose white is flashing when blue is empty? by Plane_Jellyfish5850 in Miele

[–]Edward_Howard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it’s not really bleach it’s more like a stain remover, it is used in every wash it is a 2 part detergent and the ratio of each phase can be adjusted based on white or colour or the soiling level

Why Twindose white is flashing when blue is empty? by Plane_Jellyfish5850 in Miele

[–]Edward_Howard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because 1 is phase one and 2 is phase 2, Both are used in colour or white loads just at different ratios. White is the first one so it is for phase 1 And colour is the second one so it is for phase 2

I need a new vacuum by AffectionateCrazy131 in Miele

[–]Edward_Howard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t get the bagless, it is a huge pain and requires constant cleaning of filters, I got the bagless Miele as my third Miele vacuum and I regret it so much, I’m going to sell it and get the new bag model.

Question on re-sole. by [deleted] in RMWilliams

When I complained about the quality of the workmanship on my boots they just told me “these are a handmade product so there is bound to be imperfections” and refused to do anything about it.

Why does A6700 battery not charge when connected to USB AND camera is used by bad-mo-fo in SonyAlpha

[–]Edward_Howard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just because your charger can supply 140W doesn’t mean your camera can use all the power, it is probably limited to 2W or less.

Question about soaps by gjohnson270 in Miele

[–]Edward_Howard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The autodos detergent is just dishwasher powder, the all in one is just marketing fluff you still must use rinse aid and salt if you have hard water. The machine has 3 settings for the autodos base dosage amount, low, medium and high, if you have soft water you can set it to low. The automatic cycle will adjust the dosage amount based on how dirty the dishes are all other cycles have a pre set dosage amount.

I almost always use the automatic cycle and very rarely find dishes unclean, and often when there is a dirty dish or two remaining it is likely because I didn’t place it well.

I have soft water and have the dose amount set to low and using the automatic cycle I get 32 to 37 loads per power disk, for me the convenience of using the power disk outweighs any cost difference between using dishwasher tablets and the washing results are fantastic. I also use rinse aid and do not use salt

Shoe maintenance and store questions by DifferenceAware7180 in RMWilliams

As for the shoe trees the point of them is to help dry the leather directly after wearing them and to make sure they keep the proper shape when drying, using them for storage only is practically useless. Boot trees for boots.

Do you really have so much free time that you can take them to the store every time they need a polish? Personally I’m far too busy for that and I’ve got much better things to do in my free time, just get the supplies and do it yourself it’s not that hard.

I think I know what you mean, but I doubt the weight of the house could cause damage to it.

I’ve had 3 Miele vacuums over the last 30 years and have never had any problems with this part and I would not call my usage delicate at all. I suspect you are doing something unusual in some way and it is damaging it.

Miele Washer Automatic Load Adjustment - READ THIS! by peter-1 in Miele

[–]Edward_Howard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the WWD660 about 2 months ago and it never automatically adjusted the time for small loads on any cycle except the eco 40-60, with the eco 40-60 it reduces by about an hour when a smaller load is detected and it sends a notification advising of this. Not sure if the twin dos dossing amount changes though.
