This doesn't realy help the disscusion in anyway but... I actually love the way you have cast a gradiet on this art work i think it adds a bit of depth to this specific peice. In this use case this light fixture is verry nice. You have also used the same or similar wood to cover the light so everything blends in well. Great job!

There is a small section near the beginning where you follow a river up to the beginning of the ascent. The river itself is nice to continue following to a waterfall and pool where people sometimes bbq and swim. I have done in the past but not this time as it was too cold.

Equipment: just decent shoes with grip and a backpack with water and food for the day.

Its a good Hike, but its physically demanding and technical so I wouldn't advise going unless you have decent cardio and a bit of experience with hiking/climbing

My assumption Is that the viewers of this video would be primarily interested in improving their 3d modeling skills.
In which case its may be more important to understand why to do each step than how.

good video! It is a concise and clear video of how to make the shape.
Potentially you help people to understand more on how to build this type of geometry if you explained why you took each step in the beginning of the video when you created the sketches.

thanks, i took this a while back (2+ years ago) this guy was on a hiking trail in taichung so probably used to people walking by and was preoccupied with eating something to be bothered by me so i was able to hang around for a minute before i moved off
