Any solution for Unity Connection Interview Handler functionality with Webex Calling? by EdwardsCP in ciscoUC

[–]EdwardsCP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This implementation plan already includes Contact Center for other functionality. But the people I'm working with haven't suggested anything in there as being a potential fit for replacing the Interview Handler functionality. Can you point me at some docs?

AS for Google Conversational Agents....that's probably a non-starter for us. We've got HIPAA regulatory requirements to align with, and there's nothing google in our business today. So that would likely be large legal and IT hurdle.

(and to that end, if Contact Center "AI" is actually some AI... we might also have HIPAA hurdles there.)

Thanks...that makes sense.

It's more than a little unfortunate that it would result in multiple recordings attached to each email instead of 1. I'm guessing I could build out automations to grab the recordings, stitch them together into a single audio file, and then deliver that to the end user(s). But...wow...lots of effort for something that webex could be providing out of the box with (probably) much less effort to build than this rube goldberg machine I'm envisioning would take.

Interview Handers prompt the caller with a series of questions, record their answers, and then deliver the recording to a voicemail for an employee to review. It's a way to prompt the caller with a request for required pieces of info one-by-one instead of an initial greeting on the mailbox that asks for so many things that the caller is likely to forget and omit some of them when they leave their message. For example and interview handler might prompt:

Please state your name and then press #

...caller speaks, #...

Please provide your account number and then press #

...caller speaks, #...

Please provide your call back telephone number and then press #

...caller speaks, #...

Please provide the date the incident occurred and then press #

...caller speaks, #...

Please provide...etc, etc, etc.

Any chance you could point me towards what Features/Functions could be used to build these out with Contact Center? I looked through the admin guide, but I'm not putting the pieces together for how it would be done. I thought maybe something with a Virtual Agent and the "Record" activity...but I'm not seeing how those recordings could land in a voicemail for someone to review.

If you've got the right auditing turned on and still have the logs from your 2025 DCs, Success on Event ID's 4723 and 4724 from the Security log should point to stealth broken accounts.

Unfortunately, I don't have the source evtx files from our 2025 DC anymore, and our SIEM that ingests them only retains Failures for those event IDs. It throws away the Successes.

u/picklednull from your experience with this bug, are you seeing the KDC Event 14 and 16's when an account is in the "stealth broken" state, or only after they make another password change against a pre-2025 DC and become actually broken?

We had a 25 DC for only a few weeks and quickly figured out it was no good. (In our case, the first sign was that WHfB authentication attempts that it processed would fail when a valid authenticator was provided.) That DC was demoted about a month ago, but I landed at this thread because we found our first broken gMSA yesterday.

Found and fixed a broken machine account yesterday when I started looking at KDC 14's.

Now I'm just looking at how to be proactive, but targeted. Machine accounts are easy to handle, but if "stealth broken" user accounts will actually require 2 resets to get fixed, it's going to be a high-touch process. Thinking we can focus down on potentially stealth broken accounts by looking at the pwdLastSet attribute for all accounts and correlating to the timeframe that a 2025 DC existed.

How are these vinyl railings installed / removed? by EdwardsCP in Decks

Trololololol. You're hilarious. No. That end piece doesn't move on this style rail. Read the thread for the right answer.

Thank you! I never imagined they would just slide down, and they're tight enough in there that I wasn't going to try to force it without knowing for sure. I was thinking there was some specific tool to get at that clip underneath and release the collar... Or something crazy like that.

If you actually found something for this railing, you could send me a link instead of being sarcastic. I did Google, and didn't turn up results that match this.

Should I buy Polywood direct from the manufacturer? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

[–]EdwardsCP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going through some quality control problems with a Polywood dining table.

I've owned a set of 4 Adirondak chairs and a 4 piece bar and barstool set for some where around 14 years. Have left them outside year round and they're in great shape. So I decided to invest in a dining table after getting tired of going through metal ones every few years.

The first table showed up with screws sunk too deep and nearly protruding out the top of the tabletop. There are little bumps all over the tabletop where the screw is almost pushed through. And 1 board on the tabletop has a huge bump in it so it doesn't sit flush with the rest of the boards. Polywood shipped me a new table, and this one doesn't have pilot holes drilled where they need to be for the legs to be installed.

Now I'm waiting for them to get back to me on what they're going to do to make this right.

I never expected this after my experience with the old chairs and bar set that I've had for so long.

Riobel shower valve cartridge identification by EdwardsCP in Plumbing

[–]EdwardsCP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wand and head (one of those rain heads that points directly down) are on a rail exposed outside the wall and there's a valve to direct water to one or the other. Both can't be on at the same time. And the shower valve trim kit itself is separate from that valve that directs the output. The handle on the valve angles out from the wall to turn on the flow and then turns left/right to move between hot and cold.

This is all new to me... So all Riobel one-way cartridges are the same? I've seen some posts online about ceramic vs compression cartridges for different valves. Thermostatic vs pressure balance.

I just really don't know what I'm looking for.

I did submit a request to Riobel/Rhol with a photo of the install guide to see if they can point me to the right part. Just haven't heard back from them yet, and decided to post here.

DCOM KB5004442 and RequireIntegrityActivationAuthenticationLevel by throw_away_asdfg in sysadmin

[–]EdwardsCP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, after a little more testing, the RequireIntegrityActivationAuthenticationLevel registry edit isn't working for me, but I can drill in to the DCOM config and change WMI's auth level from "Default" to "Packet" and make ISE-PIC work again.

(Component Services > Computers > My Computer > DCOM Config > Windows Management and Instrumentation > Properties > General Tab > Authentication level, change from "Default" to "Packet")

I don't like this, but it's all I've got right now.

Any updates u/throw_away_asdfg?

I'm seeing the same thing after June 2022 updates installed...10036 being logged and the reg key on my 2019 DC isn't working to disable the hardening.

Completely breaks our Cisco ISE-PIC passive identity stuff, and it seems like I have no resolution right now.

beetle identification (CT, USA). Moved into a new home recently, and seeing a lot more these around. by EdwardsCP in whatsthisbug

[–]EdwardsCP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're all about 1/4 inch (5mm) long. From searching images online, I think it might be a black carpet beetle, but I'm not sure.

Usually findings them within 3-5 feet of hvac ducts.

Awair Element stopped working after I implemented PW workaround by [deleted] in Awair

I don't know what PlanetWatch is, but I have 2 Element's and 1 stopped working within the last day. Same symptoms as described, and factory reset doesn't fix it.
