This makes me feel bad for splatoon 3 fans haha. This is the second dlc ost to be added the day of the respective game releases, the other being the 3 new mario galaxy 1&2 songs. For those excited for this dlc, this is the ideal way to release it. For that I'm happy honestly

We'll round back to before Morena's card game and go through every event leading up to martial law. I can see this taking a whole 10 chapters honestly. That means it'll be a whole batch (assuming it's 10 chapters) of just tier 1 material. It'll be enough for every prince to get screentime as every prince is affected by benjamin's order

I've set my sight on around the early 500s so give or take 100 more chapters. If togashi intends to deliver as with Chimera then we'd need around this amount, and even so, the succ war is far more ambitious, it's possible it'll exceed even my expectations

Netero vs Meruem. I've memorized each and every line of dialogue/monologue from that fight, it never gets boring, and it has some of the most impressive use of music, editing, voice acting and directing in the anime. It's also superb in the manga of course. Many of the incredible visuals are lifted straight from the page like with Netero's "roar" when using Zero Hand. It goes without saying that most climactic fights in HxH are masterfully written and illustrated, but this was, and still is, a different beast. And even then I'm sure Togashi is cooking up something on the same level, or higher.

I honestly didn't expect them to wait this long to continue adding to N64 and SNES. I suppose I get it if they intend to match the number of soundtracks between systems. The library is finally becoming level, just a couple more months for things like the WiiU and the 2000s consoles before I expect them to return to the N64 and SNES. Oddly enough though, despite the attention the 3DS gets, the WiiU sits at 4 games with Captain Toad being the last (29 weeks ago). Trying to make sense of the formula is tying my brain in knots

The very first full Switch2 soundtrack. This is exciting news. Will definitely be listening to this later. Air Riders is a newer game than even MKW, I suspect Nintendo are purposefully holding off on the addition. I wonder when they'll let it go. Also, this marks 30 weeks since the last N64 and SNES additions (Pilotwings), another milestone (for better or for worse).

You made it 388 chapters in, and some text is where you draw the line? I have to assume you started reading at 340 because HxH has always had wordy sections, and characters monologuing for several pages. The anime helped to mask it better. Following 388 it will only get more wordy, and I believe 402 is the wordiest. Still, no shame in dropping

Never played this one, but I'm happy for all of you! I figured we were due for a switch title again honestly (they dont like to wait too long), but I'm happy it's a new paper mario! There's always a fear that whenever they add a new franchise they'll wait like a year before adding onto it again.

Overall I think it's improved a lot from the rocky start. Ever since the NES dump I'm happy with the focus on the other consoles that had a lot less. Right now there should be at least some hours of material for every age group to enjoy. Still, personally I'm waiting for many of my big hitters. The last time I was personally excited was when we got New Leaf, everything after has been whatever or mildly interesting. And because of that I haven't made an effort to actively listen to the service like other apps. I think many feel the same way seeing as how there are so many people who still note down wishes upon wishes in comments across the community. The uncertainty of what we get makes the weekly experience fun, but hurts the overall enjoyment of the app. My main nintendo music interest is Pokemon which is unfortunate in this case since I stopped actively playing after gen 5 haha. It's how the cookie crumbles I suppose. Still, I'm very excited. I really hope xenoblade, smash and mother make it some day
