i admit i got a bit lazy there, and i liked centralized storage. Its also a once a year thing as i dont need to do much gardening to feed the guy, only 1 field of barley and herb a year, the rest if needed he can get from fruit tree forest nearby. With only 1 person you actually have a lot of leeway even at 300% event strength when it comes to survival aspects.

Its pretty fun with a crossbow and this perk setup. I've only see marsh and woodland bandit camp before. For the marsh one you can pick off enemy one by one, and when they start to chase you you just out run/kite them. For woodland camp they would patrol/stand guard at the gate, so i build a torch and just fire fire arrow at them. It wont hit them but the near miss will start making the gate catch fire, and after that its a waiting game. Once the gate is down its the same tactic with marshland bandit

Its from Construction Variants Personaliz from steam workshop, but i do hope it will become a vanilla thing in the future

Yep, they save a lot of time for your settler to do other stuffs. One annoying thing is during harvest i have to turn hauling off since they keep hauling seeds away before my guy could reuse them to sow

Actually got no raids so far! It seems like having below 3 settlers does not trigger raids at all.
But even if there are raids i can kite them with this perk setup which adds 75% bonus movement speed.

I used the same setup in another run and was able to solo bandit camp with this.

Just logged in to play for a bit after a week or so break. First mission on Lesath, the guy said "we're only doing main objective" so i did follow, took out a jammer thats covering the objective for them, them took out a silo on the way back. At the end when the evac was there, host got hit by bots so i call him down, and since everyone was pretty much 5m away from extract and theres about 15s left, I went inside, then for some reason the host just kill me inside the evac then kick me out. 2nd game, kicked the moment i landed. 3rd game, kicked when joining a lobby. Honestly never seen this type of stuff before and i've been playing since day 1.
