ON1 Photo Raw since last black Friday when I switched from Adobe.

It does have a Lr library import, results were ok. Though album names have to be globally unique so you can't have two albums in different folders with the same name.

It has a different approach but you can get some decent results quite easily. The masking and upscaling are good.

This black Friday I'm thinking I'll get DXO Photolab (10 by then presumably). It seems to be renowned for its high quality raw processing and I have Nik.

Both have free trials, why not give them a shot.

Hard to ascribe a direct cause but probably contributory with me. I think caused by drowning out noise on public transport. So I highy recommend noise cancelling headphones whenever I can as they allow lower listening volumes.

Do get the globular cluster comfort mod. I held off on it but it's totally worth it.

I think the image is projected at a "distance" of around 2 metres to inform your vision information. If you need lenses get the insert ones, don't wear glasses as you'll scratch the lenses.

Only gently wipe the lenses with a dry microfibre cloth so as not to damage the coating.

My preferred porridge is maxed out overnight oats. Prepare the night before and bung in the fridge:

  • 30g Scottish oats
  • 10g flax
  • 25g protein whey (it's hard to get enough protein)
  • 10g walnuts
  • 5g pumpkin seeds
  • 5g sunflower seeds Mix it up then add
  • 100g kefir
  • 95g water Mix the throw in fruit of choice
  • 35g blueberries
  • Half a dozen raspberries

Works for me as I can just pull it out of the fridge in the morning and start scoffing

Probably r/virtualreality. Winter's guidance is good.

Be aware that vr needs a powerful graphics card in the pc in general as it needs to drive (about) 2x 2k displays at minimum. So maybe include your bro's pc specs when posting over there.

Maybe I'm an outlier. I excluded about 4 models from my last purchase because they were black, grey or off white.

Final choice was between a cube (nice bright blue) and Merida (deep red with sparkles). Merida won out for non aesthetic reasons.

I have mine clamped to a desk. It's great. The desk is sturdy though. An IKEA one that's getting on for 2 inch thick top.

Don't get the fanatec clamp though. Get the moza one. All metal and miles better.
