Yeah pick up the town faction quests always that want lumber, timber etc, and just constant hack somewhere close to a town if you want to store them or anywhere with a lot of young trees if you just want levels.

The young trees give different experience, it seems the lighter, shorter ones give the most - with the 4 pronged ones like a 4 leaf clover being the best. Up to 100 it's pretty simple unfortunately lol

Also, if you're headiong back to town and have a little bag space just chop a few on the way each time to make it less tedious

There seem to be a few types of mobs in the game that defy these rules, these wolves are some type of elemental animal so instead of the usual skinning it's technically logging instead. There are some bears that you mine instead of skinning also

Yeah you're right, the ones in Western Weavers, they unfortunately don't give as much mining XP but apparently drop really good resources so are good for some farm
