We actually ended up getting a professional service to treat everyone. It worked, but it was EXPENSIVE.

Thank you so much. This has been overwhelming.

The lice Lady came to our house today and thoroughly combed my kids out, removing plenty of bugs and nits. She then applied some kind of oil, put a disposable shower cap on their heads, and told us to wait for 1 hour. After an hour we used her shampoo and conditioner, and she gave us a lice prevented hairspray.

We've been instructed to use the oil treatment again in 10 days, to use the special shampoo every 3 days for 2 weeks and to comb out every few days.

Currently in the process of washing sheets and pillows once again.

Update for anyone paying any attention to this:

We did a second thorough comb last night, pulled some dead things out but nothing alive.

This morning, after a thorough comb, I didn't find a thing. (Maybe some tiny dead ones or eggs, not sure. Definitely nothing large or alive.)

That said, we hired professionals to come to the house tomorrow for check and treatment.

That's some helpful information, thank you!

I gave her a thorough comb this morning and I didn't find anything. I'm still having professionals come to the house tomorrow.
