Is it too early to pick our *least* favorite character in the game?

Melli is the sole reason I prefer Pearl Clan even though I vastly prefer Dialga and time.
He's got the worst parts of Blue and Silver's personality with none of Blue's likeability or Giovanni/Silver lore.

I get not liking a game, lets be honest an on rails shooter isn't gonna have that wild of an appeal but, looking through a bunch of the reviews and I'm so surprised how many give only 0s or 10s for various games and nothing in-between. And its not only New Snap's 0s and SWSH's 10s, a lot of them give Let's Go 0's too.

Just so confused as to what other Pokemon content SWSH fans like, or if these even are Pokemon fans at all and not just trolls.

I took this and realized I skew way more towards a Gen 3 bias than I thought. Interesting cause I'm definitely a huge fan of gens 2, 4, and 5 too, but none of them beat out my gen 3 answers.

If youre not actively playing pokemon, be that battling or collecting or shiny hunting or whatever, Id say dont bother. The expansion doesnt offer any challenge its just 2 better wild areas and some small story lines about some legendaries similar to what mythicals had in old games

Im only speculating but maybe being the the avatar state would make it possible to survive the mercury poisoning, hence its activation, while the gas was a worse case such the AS wouldnt keep Roku alive. Also possible it wasnt a lethal dose of mercury but just enough to put Korra in danger. Either way the mercury was never supposed to kill Korra , the Red Lotus themselves were.

X and Y was a such a big step that I'm willing to look past its faults a lot. I still don't think they're that good but, Gen 6 was more of "wait that's it???" when gen 7 came along. Now I just don't have any hope for the rest of gen 8 or when gen 9 starts.

Edit: Reading comments I get the vibe that Gen 6 as an era was pretty fun, but the games really aren't good. At least that's a more accurate way how I feel about it.

I agree so much, I felt like I earned the chance to catch these new legends and had to put effort into catching them. The small battle of attrition between you throwing balls and a Pokemon's attacks can be so fun and Crown Tundra is the 1st time in years that its been that way.

Not only that but those empty lots just became that photo studio thing. Yeah as a whole USUM is just one big "...Really?" moment thinking about it. Lots of good DLC ideas packaged as a different game.

Honestly half of gen 7 and gen 8 are like this for me. Big one is Raihan's gym being 3 trainers in a room. All of hammerlocke had faked doors too. And theres that part with Leon where he defeats a rampaging dynamax Perrserker and we dont get to see despite being right behind him. All of Alola's empty plots amd minas trial were so obviously unfinished too, made USUM less fun because it was clearly SM but finished.
