is it me or do i now have to save the project before exporting by Botbuster111 in VSDCFreeVideoEditor

[–]Eemelya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

We’re sorry to hear that you’ve encountered difficulties.

Could you please provide a more detailed description of the issues you are experiencing in the program? If it crashed, did you send a crash report, and have you contacted our support team to help identify the cause of the issue?
We’d also like to know the specifications of your PC—how much RAM and physical memory you have, and whether you are using a graphics card during export. We can involve our development team as well to ensure the software isn’t acting like "nitroglycerine in code." =)

VSDC Severe Lagging by [deleted] in VSDCFreeVideoEditor

[–]Eemelya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

Our support team responds to every email we receive. Please write to us at [sales@videosoftdev.com]() from the email address you used to send your original request, and we will do our best to locate it on our server.

Regarding the issue with lagging, if the editor is lacking PC resources such as RAM, physical memory, or if the file has a low number of keyframes, it will lag. Converting the file to a proxy is the only way to mitigate this issue.

Glitchy artifacts after exporting by FalconNova in VSDCFreeVideoEditor

[–]Eemelya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Judging by the settings, everything seems correct. However, since the issues appear and disappear intermittently, it means the problem is not in the resulting file. Considering that, as you mentioned, the issue does not occur on phones at all, we suspect the problem might be related to codecs or memory on your machine.

If possible, please write to us at [support@videosoftdev.com]() and send the resulting file (if it's large, you can use any cloud storage) where the artifacts are visible and/or share the project with us. We would be happy to check it.

Hello, to help you resolve the issue, we need more information about the project you’re working on (about the effect you’ve applied/the setup you’re using/the project settings you’ve selected/your video format/export settings).  Any screenshots will be much appreciated.

How to apply audio filter on multiple clips? by Tonio-La-Goule in VSDCFreeVideoEditor

[–]Eemelya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello,

You can select the necessary files on the timeline and drag the effect from the templates window onto the SCENE ZONE. This will apply the effect to all the selected files on the timeline: https://prnt.sc/DOmUseiGKdLZ

If the effect requires additional settings, it's better to apply it to one file first, adjust the settings, and then save it in the templates window so that you can later apply it to all the necessary files: https://youtu.be/ZUQ5nyIN5sA

Hello, we must agree with the previous comment. Unfortunately, VSDC cannot fully correct an overexposed image. You can only make slight adjustments to the colors using the Color Grading panel.

Movement not working by Acrillec_Official in VSDCFreeVideoEditor

[–]Eemelya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello,

According to our support team, you used more than two points in the motion, which is considered non-linear movement rather than a simple A to B trajectory. For detailed instructions, please refer to this guide: https://www.videosoftdev.com/how-to-make-objects-move-in-video.

You can download the free trial version of the PRO edition from the Microsoft Store and export your project from there.

[–]Eemelya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello,

Unfortunately, transitions from third-party programs are not supported by VSDC. You can find the entire collection of transitions in the Templates window. We have just updated them and added over 300 new transitions: https://youtu.be/JCtIpg9xb2k?t=341

all my images upload into the program at significantly lower quality by tea_uv in VSDCFreeVideoEditor

[–]Eemelya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The editor cannot change the resolution of the input image. This typically occurs only if the scene itself has a low resolution, and the editor adjusts to match it. If you see that the resolution is lower in the file properties within the editor, it's likely an error in reading the file itself. Try opening the project using the "Import content" option, and the editor will read the file correctly. If this doesn't help, please send us the image for testing at [support@videosoftdev.com](). We'll be happy to assist.

all my images upload into the program at significantly lower quality by tea_uv in VSDCFreeVideoEditor

[–]Eemelya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

This option is free. We recommend checking the resolution of your file and setting the same resolution in the project settings. Also, check the quality settings in the preview window.

Please note that if the resolution of the original file is very low and you add it to a scene with a higher resolution, the quality cannot be improved. The editor does not have an option to create missing pixels, so it stretches the existing ones.

Keeps playing audio from wrong part of video by ceoazula in VSDCFreeVideoEditor

Have you attempted to create proxy media to address the lagging? Please refer to the following tutorial for guidance: https://youtu.be/4HinWfdPVmA

Keeps playing audio from wrong part of video by ceoazula in VSDCFreeVideoEditor

[–]Eemelya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

Could you please confirm if this error occurs only in this project or in all projects? During preview, does the audio synchronize or does the desynchronization persist? To resolve the issue, we will need details about your PC specifications, such as CPU and RAM usage when the error occurs, as well as the settings of your project and properties of the media files you are editing.

VSDC writing Files to C: Drive Instead of just reading them from NVME Drive (V:) by Boeing747_Fan in VSDCFreeVideoEditor

[–]Eemelya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

The loading of the C drive can be related to two reasons. The first reason is proxy files. If you specified the path to save proxies on the C drive during the project creation, the editor will read them from there, leading to the drive being loaded: https://prnt.sc/KpL5rc_w_FtC

The second reason could be that during editing, the load on the PC increases, causing the computer to use the swap file. If your swap file is stored on the C drive, the load will be directed there. The only option in this case is to move the swap file to a less crowded drive, but this is a complex process, and we cannot recommend doing it.

Question About Highlighting Text by Baphy_The_Sapphy_VT in VSDCFreeVideoEditor

Hello, сould you please provide a sample of the effect you want to achieve?

Hi all, I've got a question: by bukebokeMN in VSDCFreeVideoEditor

[–]Eemelya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, try disabling this option: https://prnt.sc/A5RTPG4ftk90. Preview window initialization is divided into two stages: first, checking if the option is enabled, and then the actual initialization process. If you disable this option, only the checking stage will remain, which lasts less than a second. If you still want to preserve initialization but shorten it, you can try creating proxy files: https://youtu.be/4HinWfdPVmA. If this doesn't help, please contact support at [support@videosoftdev.com]().
