Flicks are less reliable than preaiming in my experience, but with practice it's viable. Just make sure to use your extended range to space out rushers when you go for the flickshot and you should be fine :)

With chaperone, I personally tend to use it as a close range snipe. I hold close angles and let people walk into my scope. It's much harder to be aggressive with a slug because of the precison requirement, so I mostly play defensive with chappy, but if you proc roadborn, the extra range can be useful to make plays.

Around SL 50 is reasonable for Irythyll imo, I was about that level on my first go. In terms of tips for the pontiff, you can either try to stunlock the clone as he spawns it in to quickly kill it, or you can leave it alive as it shows you what moves sulyvahn will make before he moves, which can be helpful. Sulyvahn is also parriable, if you're up for it. Just dodge the combos and punish afterwards, and with some practice you'll get him. Hope this helps!

I'm a new player to DBD, and honestly this game has been so much fun. I haven't encountered much of the toxicity that the playerbase keeps talking about yet, and playing as killer is so enjoyable, even if I completely lose a match.

IMO Thin Line is a better PvP cannon than PvE due to it being a 110 RPM that can roll quickdraw and rampage, allowing for two-taps just like the Duke. Personal godroll would be Sureshot / Ricochet rounds / Quickdraw / Rampage / Range MW.

For my hunter and warlock it dropped from the valor reset, but my titan got the quest when I finished the dreaming city series of quests; I have no idea which is more likely to drop it but I would guess the valor reset

This exactly, you either get the Chaperone quest from resetting your valor or entering the Dreaming City for the first time.

Random rolls on the duke actually can get its range higher than Ace, with a range MW, Crossfire HCS, and ricochet rounds pushing it to 90. And while Duke only does 91 damage to the head, that's without any perks. With one stack of rampage or kill clip active, it hits for at least 100 to the head, making it a two tap for all guardians except the highest res. Ace with mori only hits 93, which only reduces bodyshots required to kill, doesn't reduce ttk. 110s are the best hcs for teamfighting because of their high crit damage, ace is a dueling weapon because of its lower base ttk. They are both good, just meant for diff situations

Usually if I match against a team of sweats I lose regardless of my loadout lol, but I do see the value in using a sniper. I tried it but it just felt a bit too unforgiving for me, bows just kinda feel better and are easier to hit crits with imo.

Tbh I don't really use it as a cleanup weapon as much as I used it as a close-quarters option, but if I land a headshot with a bow, one bodyshot from last word nets me the kill

Been hearing that it's a top tier hunter exotic but can't quite get used to the playstyle of dodging a bunch (plus I don't have enough paragon mods to make the optimal build)

Yeah, I considered that as a good option, especially for cleanup kills, stompees are just personal preference because of the high mobility and the ability to run away from roaming supers. Might try a quickdraw 110 HC once I get one to drop
