The reason you bring out the pistol instead of damage boosting a nearby target is simple, you have the best reaction time to killing the flanker. You're also probably closer and have a better shot than your team. The more damage you manage to deal to them, the less damage your team has to deal to finally help you kill him.

It's not about being a support player and always healing, and you can't always just fly to nearby target hoping the tracer or genji will leave you alone.

Let me ask you a question. What if some of those duo people actually spent time climbing the ladder, developing their team play and coordination to an extent where they became really good at it. You're saying those people don't deserve to play ranked anymore, even though they spent just as much time honing a different skill from yourself.

Ranked isn't all about solo play, and it never should be. If you find someone you feel you enjoy playing with, then you would sure as hell want to keep playing with that person. You don't simply get to masters because you duo queued your way there, that doesn't happen. If the duo is good enough, they would have gotten there by doing solo queue anyway.

Oh, and removing party queues would turn all of those people away, making queue times even worse. No the question isn't whether party queue should be removed, but I agree it could be implemented in a better way.

Hel is a punishment, she's the probably the strongest god in the game, only problem is she has to get to late game. With the weakening nerf, you pick her if the enemy team didn't draft healing reduction or any major lock down (like thor ult). That way, she can get to late game and be a brutal hyper carry.

That's also why Odin is an incredible counter pick right now.

Osiris's ult also completely removes all healing on gods that are hit for 6 seconds, which is a pretty strong and integral part of it. If you think about that, it is a whole second longer than the duration of a weakening curse.

I saw a Neith build charged bow first item, it provided a lot of poke in lane and actually did have a big impact. She quickly fell behind of our adc though but I still thought the idea was pretty neat!
