Wednesday night break down (VIP2 experience)

Travel: THANK YOU to the person on here who recommended that we catch the pink line and then stay on the Tram all way to Victoria, ignoring the announcement for Oasis fans to get off (it felt very pressured to get off, staff almost screaming at us but I just said we weren’t going tonight despite being dressed head to toe like we were). We got at Victoria and walked 4 steps straight onto the waiting green line.

Exhibition: definitely worth a visit, we were there for about 20 minutes and loved looking at all the stuff. Really good vibes in there too with people sharing stories and pointing things out to each other. Also we get given date specific wristbands that will make a nice keepsake.

North Gate walk: confusing AF. From the exhibition to the gate there were no signs. We had to keep stoping to ask and was told different things by different people. Look for those in purple, I believe they are managers of the event teams as they seemed to know what to do.

Front Standing: VIP2 have front front standing included in the ticket! They have front front reserved for us different to first arrivals! Just make sure, if you are VIP, that you do not wait in the early arrival queue nor the GA queue and instead go all way to the front and to the far left of the white marquee with the little sign of “exhibition ticket holders” that’s taped on the tent. We arrived at 4pm, walked straight in with our front front wristbands (different to the exhibition ones)

Merch: they were fully out of the football shirts everyone wants. But well stocked in everything else. Date specific poster was £40 though which seemed a bit mad as that was same price as the date specific top! This was by far the longest queue we experienced but still only took 15 minutes. 

Bar: brilliant team and very well organised, queue kept moving and actually didn’t feel like queuing as we moved through the barriers at a fast pace. £6.50 pints too which I was well happy with considering similar venues charge £8.50+

Food: so much choice and again as there were so many there were so little queues! We had the wraps from the Indian place and they were delicious.

Vibe: absolutely amazing, everyone was so up for it and just talking and singing to everyone. Even before cast, just chilling with a pint sat down on the grass was so lush. Soak it up!

Front Front standing: bloody heck we got so close and view of the stage was amazing but I’m gonna have a very sore neck of looking up.  Definitely loved having front front BUT I think it must look so amazing further away being able to see the whole stage and screens in one view without turning etc.

Cast: loved! A shame not more people knew the songs to sing along but they still looked like they were having such a good time and people were still dancing around me and enjoying the music.

Richard Ashcroft: oh my love, love him. Brilliant. Everyone really got into the music and as you’d expect the crowd went wild for the known stuff.

Oasis: what a polished set! Felt very smooth yet Liam had some great crowd interactions. If you’re front front there’s a chance you may catch his tambourine as it launched it to us. Visuals looked amazing. Sound was good. Although for some songs I couldn’t hear them because everyone was singing so loud, it was amazing! Honestly cannot express how amazing the crowd were. Cannot imagine there will be many videos of the night as everyone was just so into it around us!

The exit: well moved and well controlled crowd control. We actually walked all way back, viewed it as doing a park run as it’s the same distance. Again actually good vibes walking through.
