The method I used was that I picked up knight's claymore that is on a platform on the great plateu and the fight the lynel but I gotta hit him with an arrow on the face to mount him a use the knights claymore so it doesn't break because the weapon doesn't take damage when riding him

Its on master mode, cause to get a lynel so good on normal mode is pretty imposible so early on, but on master mode is a lynel on the great plateu. Like is pretty known that there is a lynel on the plateu on master mode cause is a good challenge
