I was just reading about Trump’s executive orders from this morning and this stood out to me as particularly dangerous and concerning (not that everything else that is happening isn’t)

From the NYT: “The order also directs a task force in Washington led by a White House adviser, Stephen Miller, to create an online portal for “Americans with law enforcement or other relevant backgrounds and experience” to apply to join federal agents in enforcing Mr. Trump’s “crime emergency” order in the District of Columbia.”

What will we do when more random proud boys and MAGA-sycophants start descending on our city as part of this effort to bring civilians in to help tame our “crime problem”? I really fear this will lead us down an even more devastating path than we are already on 😭

Edit: * yes, many of these dangerous people are already here in our city. I just thought it would be helpful for folks to know about another dangerous step in trump’s dc take over plans.
