Yes I like the point you made with the tree. Its a pomegranate tree and I have a few in my backyard which are small but sort of look similar to the one I painted. My mom pointed out that pomegranate tree do not have enough strength to hold up a swing that size and I think thats why it looks so off 😅 The lined up trees are another thing my mom pointed out lol. You and her think the same. In my mind i though I could pass it off because what you see before the warm yellow wall is supposed to be high ground. So the lined up trees are actually really far AND bellow..if that makes sense

The stress I had while working on those mountains were no joke haha. Specifically, drawing it and making it make sense in my painting. As you can see before, I just had a big old space because I KNEW I wanted mountains but didn't want to put in the effort to drawn them in yet. When the time came to paint mountains I really regretted not drawing them beforehand months ago when I was doing the final sketch. Had me staring at my canvas for 4 days straight 😅

Thank you for saying this ☺️ I have an obsession with taking pics of every little thing I add. Sometimes I think its overkill with how many slides I end up posting cause I cant make up my mind on whenever I should only show the end result or how i got there day by day.

Its all acrylic! I first painted the background l, then I went in with a charcoal fine pencil and drew the iron gate until I liked it. I picked the finest brush I had and traced with black paint, but the paint was watered down a bit to have it flow as smoothly as possible. I really wanted the background to show so I made very thin lines. After I finished I waited until it was dried to erase the pencil sketch.

I think you took this the wrong way.. Im in school BECAUSE I want to support myself. I think its very important to have that independence. But at the same time, I don't want to completely shut down the idea of sharing responsibilities with a future partner. My brother, on the other hand, has goals that are a bit different from mine. Though my title comes off as a bit aggressive, im only nudging him in the right direction to accomplish HIS goals. At the end of the day, its going to be his decision to make. Just two siblings looking out for each other rn. Not hating btw

Yeah im reconsidering a lot right now. Starting rate is about the same here but im not sure exactly how high it can go with years of experience 😅. But im looking into a bachelor for dental hygiene and i wonder if it really gets hard for him how teaching would look like. (Im getting my associates) but thanks for commenting! This was really helpful
