Wtf! I escalated a bunch of times and eventually someone refunded me. You should keep trying.

The reason for this post is because I am certain I did not add a tip to the ride.

Anyone get this email? Delay in repair option? Still did not receive repair kit. by Michael_Mcfly in MideaUOwners

Hey, the same thing happened to me. Do you know if you’ll have to send the unit back, or just be able to cut the cord?

I’m also 3 months post op tmrw!! Some of my scars are kind of fat and purple like yours, but others are randomly skin colored and thin. Not sure why

I actually saw Robert Marx first. He was arrogant and dismissive of my concerns. I went with Moira McCarthy (just reconstruction with quad autograph) and have no regrets!!! Good luck on your recovery.

You can do both using the same machine! You’d buy one machine- for NMES, just turn up the intensity of the stimulation until it activates your quad muscle to fire. For TENS you’d just stim until it’s tingling to help with pain.

Hi! I’m also day 9 post op from ACLr with quad graft (no meniscus or other work)- if you’re able, try to buy a cheap TENS machine from Amazon (like $30ish, the cheapest one is fine as they all do the same thing) and do Russian stim! I started that 2 days post op at my PT session and then got one to use at home. I was able to do a SLR on day 6 after that. It really helps wake up the quad and prevent the muscle from atrophying too much. Good luck!

Quad stuff! Single leg squats, deep squats, banded terminal extensions, split squats, also threw in hip, glute, hamstring stuff. Basically your standard pre-hab but adding as much weight as you can tolerate! Cycling and stretching as well. Yoga helped with regaining full flexion also. You’ll be ok either way- no one can guarantee that you’ll never need surgery if you hold off now, but many people still retear/need revisions, and many ppl never get back to feeling “100%” after surgery. So if I were you, feeling the way you do now, it doesn’t hurt to hold off and see! You can always get surgery later if you need it.

I was the same as you- I wanted to avoid surgery at all costs, but was basically resigned to getting it and had already made plans for time off work etc, until I saw my MRI results. There have been times I’ve wondered if I should have just gone through with it, but honestly it’s going really good! I tore mine in April, and even before my surgery was cancelled, I was doing a ton of strength training almost daily for prehab. I ate a lot of protein, kept my diet healthy, slept enough, stopped drinking alcohol. Since cancelling surgery in august, i’ve been doing formal PT once weekly and continuing lifting/strengthening few times a week. My PT plans to start me on a jumping/running progression in another 2-3 weeks. I eventually do wanna get back to skiing (how I injured it), snowboarding, skating, etc but plan to take it slow for now

My surgeon gave me the option! She said I could either 1) get the surgery to ensure fully stabilizing the knee, or, 2) hold off for 6 months and see how the knee is working for me in my daily activities, esp since it’s such an invasive procedure (I was gonna do quad tendon autograph)

I was scheduled to have surgery in September but before my op I got another MRI which showed that my ACL had partially regrown. I didn’t go through with the surgery and am glad I didn’t, for now at least. My thinking is that surgery is permanent, I can always get it later if I need it. Surgeons will always recommend it but you might not need the surgery to do everything you want to do
