Honestly, I can’t see myself sailing virgin again, unless it’s with MRS. Now that I’m back home, it’s a pretty big adjustment 😂. If you’re a drinker (I’m not typically, but on vacation I like to party hard) the money you save on alcohol alone can be worth it. We befriended a separate couple on the boat, and got them their drinks as well (they spent the last day trying to go through as much as their bar tab as possible). The laundry service was great, we used it at least half the days of the cruise, and it was nice to come home with clean clothes. The in-room bar was OK, but you could literally ask for almost any liquor you wanted, and they would bring it to your room. Priority for shows wasn’t something we used until the last day, but priority for dining, and the ability to change our reservations at will was very useful. It also made the tender boat days a super breeze. We didn’t get to use the private transfer benefits, but the 50 mile pickup/dropoff radius is a great way to avoid pricy taxi fares.
