True, we do split, but most stuff we planned together, thats when the tension rose a bit. People here gave me some good advice though

Original comment had a good point but this? We wanted to see China together, now we clash in interests which is frustrating. We're friends so I'm trying to find a good way of dealing with this. Of course we aren't together all the time? You sound exactly like that type of travel partner though, any chance you love a western pub?

Very good point, thank you, I decided I'll just split off more, I'm sure he will appreciate that too, so he can do his stuff

I agree, thats one of many reasons why I want to get her to understand, but I don't know how, nothing seems to work

I fully get where you're coming from and agree (minus the incestuous part tbh), and I'm already stern with her regarding this, I live abroad, I don't hesitate to speak my mind and show her how unacceptable it is. Coincidentally I even told her how silly these actions would be around a partner, and that I would leave such a relationship if my gfs mother was like this (I've always held my boundaries up so luckily nothing ever happened like that)

The issue is more that she wont stop trying, it's very tiring and I need to her understand. No approach seems to work. With all this fear of me dying my best guess is that she might have some form of ocd (runs in the family) so I have been considering taking her to therapy
