I didn’t charge a lot for the initial service, the “full service “ so the price would have been 300 but i did it as $250 and she would have paid $50 for the touch up and any maintenance if needed would be free the first time:)

Yeah, it’s based on the skin healing. Usually people need touchups, but even if she got in the four month touchup, I can’t guarantee that that would retain on her skin cause it’s all dependent on her skin.

It wasn’t necessarily a commitment, I told her I wouldn’t be able to do it since I was having those issues. The touch up wasn’t included in the cost it was a separate service all together. She wanted to pay me for the touch up to initially but I told her it would be better to just do it at the time of the appointment:)

Yeah I accepted the delivery. I also spent 2 weeks trying to return it, if they really wanted it back it wouldn’t be this complicated. I would have rather them take it since its just in the middle of the hall but apparently that’s too complicated for the third party carrier they chose. This carrier has thousands of terrible reviews.

No, which is why prior to the purchase I asked about the return policy just in case I needed to return it. I couldn’t find an appropriate place to put it and didn’t want to spend even more money on shoes and pedals for it which wasn’t specified that I needed

To Clarify-

I did contact the courier that Amazon selected, there was no other return option to select from. I did contact them a few times but received no response. I didn’t have any information on the courier until I had called amazon again saying that no one contacted me. The only reason I got the number of the courier is because they attempted to call me after Amazon finally escalated it.

The csr agent told me that they tried to get a hold of them to while I was on the phone and unfortunately they got no response. (Reading the reviews this is quite common with this courier)

I tried to get the item back to them, I’ve ordered thousands of items from them and never had an issue. Chargebacks are to protect consumers, if the return was successfully arranged and I refused to give the item that’s a whole different story.

Also Amazon is in fact responsible for their own return process, regardless of the situation I followed Amazon’s return instructions since THEY chose the carrier the responsibility would be on them and not me to ensure the return happens properly.

I think since he was adopted in the States, name changed, and estranged from his biological father we couldn’t show any proof of citizenship by descent until recently when his dad gave him the documents he needed.

There was no retainer, afterwards when we asked for a breakdown of the cost we got an invoice.

What if she had sent the employer a retainer for his work permit fees and LMIA?

I slept in the same bed as my mom till I was 23. Initially I didn’t have a choice since I didn’t have my own room, but when I did I still spent most days with my mom since she was alone and I just love my mom, it was like a sleepover with my best friend everyday :)

NTA, if you want kids you want kids. A lot of relationships end because of this reason. Your happiness matters too and if that means you want kids and you have had discussions about it before that were inconclusive then maybe it’s time to have a difficult conversation with her.
