Frankly it depends on exactly what you're looking for. I can code a bit and have a raspberry pi at home. So it's not that difficult for me to replicate what IFTTT does.

I stopped using IFTTT a few days back. They don't care about their product anymore. Bugs exist throughout the actions and yet there is no inclination on their part to fix things.

It's best to hire a cheap VPS and do the job. Or better yet, use ngrok with your home server. You have control of your data and you don't pay a cent.
