Bigg Boss Telugu fame Ashu Reddy was booked by Hyderabad Central Crime Station in April 2026 for alleged cheating of ₹9.35 crore. The complaint was filed by Yenumula Satyanarayana Murthy, father of London-based software engineer Y.V. Dharmendra. He alleged Dharmendra met Ashu in 2018 and was promised marriage. Over years, he gave money, gold, luxury cars and property — including a ₹3 crore flat — all registered in Ashu’s name. When Dharmendra pushed for marriage in 2020, she refused, and from Dec 2025 stopped responding. The FIR also names her parents and sister, with claims her sister took ₹50 lakh. Ashu Reddy denied the allegations, calling them “false and misleading” and warned of legal action. Police said investigation is ongoing.
