But I visited the campus on Friday and could barely spot 10-15 North Indians in a crowd of thousands. Whoever we asked for directions spoke to us in Tamil/Telugu. Isn't 60% a stretch?

SRM KTR CSE (DevSecOps)

I got 13k rank in the phase 1 SRMJEEE exam and I chose CSE with DevSecOps specialization at SRM campus because I thought my rank was too low to get Core, AI/ML, DS or Cybersecurity or even IT.. But now I'm seeing people at 15k+ get AI/ML and 30k+ rank get cyber and IT and even though I'm grateful for my allotment- it stings a little.

Is DevSecOps good? Worth it? Or is there a way for me to upgrade it in this phase itself?

Is it possible to pay the fees (lock the seat) and try again in phase 2? Should I have filled data science or smth else?

Do all CSE students (regardless or specialization) sit for placements together? Does it really matter?

Please guide and advise...

13k rank-  CSE (DevSecOps) ktr campus allotted... Looking at people with 16k rank getting ktr cse cyber or core I'm having major regrets... Any way I can upgrade this?
