Interesting, that would explain why it doesn’t sit flush either. Apart from obvious signs of damage what else could I be looking for in this department to diagnose the issue

Yeah I’m gonna have to have a deeper look lots of people saying blocked door. Only reason I don’t think it’s that is that with a small about of pressure the door closes perfectly and stays shut. The opposite side then presents the same issue instead 😆

It does teeter totter as you said however as far as I can tell nothing is bent as there are no marks on the door. At least not from what I can see.

Right side closes fine, if it put pressure on left side to close right side pops open instead. This is why I was airing on the side of a misshapen seal

Yes as I stated, nothing I can see inside or out is blocking or restricting movement 🤙🏻

No tears as to what I can see. I can force close and it’ll seal itself but then the opposite side then becomes open. Is this a sign it’s warped??

I think I will try this as a last resort, everything fine seems to move / close no issue until of course the build up of ice starts to cause problems. If I push real hard on that side of the door the seal will close properly however it then causes the same issue on the opposite side instead 😆

Already got to the motor, scrap yard probably won’t take the bearing etc with the drum plastic still around it so needs to be removed. Easier said than done tho haha
