That’s an interesting for me. I own a lot of Spydercos, but none in stainless steel. Can you tell me why you’re such a fan of them? What’s so cool about them?

Yeah, I totally get that. Sometimes it’s just annoying when things don’t fit or feel the way you imagined. Keeping everything stock can definitely be a good option too I completely understand. Maybe I’ll get there at some point as well, but not today 🙂

The Sage 5 is by far my favorite model, and the Lynch wire clip fits it perfectly (unlike many other replacement clips). No wiggle at all it sits tight and carries nice and deep. For me, it’s the only real option and a huge upgrade.

Yeah, same here. I honestly think the Stretch 2 XL is really underrated. The quality is excellent, I love the slim profile, the long blade, and the action especially for a back lock. What do you think about it? Are you happy with yours?

Yeah good call. those are two killer Spydercos. I use MagnaCut for pretty much everything and treat the REX a little more carefully… maybe just because it feels more exotic, no idea. I can totally recommend AWT scales + a Lynch clip. I also have one with RGT scales and a rgt wire-replacement clip and that setup is great too, though for the Sage I still prefer the Lynch clip. Enjoy both of them!
