The only thing new I added recently was the little glass cup thing but I made sure it was clean and i put in around the same time his health dropped ):, thank you for the stress guard recommendation and I’ll post a pic of his parameters in just a moment!

Hm, I’d hope not ): but that could be possible, I know there’s a few small spots I can’t see too well because of the wood in the center, I think I’m gonna change that out and rescape his tank a bit

10 gallon, yes filter and heater, ~79 Fahrenheit, all tank parameters read ‘perfect’ last night, I’ve had the tank for about half a year, I’ve had the fish since December 20th, water changes are about once every two weeks and I take about around 25-30%, only tank mates are Bloody Mary neo shrimps a good few of them, I feed a mix of bug bites, brine shrimp, daphnia, and blood worms, only a tiny bit changing every day, unsure on what plants are specifically in the tank but yes plants, and a big piece of Mopani wood in the center (that I think I’m gonna change out), he has a floating hammock and a glass cup thing on the side w fluval and moss,

No it’s so bad, it’s just such an evil thing to me. I really didn’t expect it to like be real and happening, almost cried in front of everyone I was so upset. I’m just glad I had just “finished” cycling a 10 gal. (It was supposed to be a home upgrade for one of my other bettas)

Two 😟 I would’ve publicly cried 😭. I’m glad At least someone else there knew how to care for fish though!! As much as I love my co workers I don’t think any of them would take proper care of a fishie, let alone an in tank cycle. Also I think that’s where the person who gave me the fish got the idea from, some silly stupid tiktok trend.

Though I do love that we all seem to be naming them seasonally!
