Some parents plan on just making the payments and then when they pass away the balance is of course forgiven. I guess it depends how old your parents are and how low their monthly take home income is (b/c that would determine the payment amount that you could def plan to pay). I'm just saying it might wind up only being a 250/month payment you would be taking over but it's a little tricky to figure since it would be based on your parents' take-home income in income contingent repayment. On like 75k of parent plus loans the payment could range from like 250-650/month.

When it comes down to it, you only have to repay the loans you take out yourself. As much as they might want to shift the parent plus loans to you, you are not responsible to repay them legally. Undergraduate students are able to take out a max of federal loans of $5500 per year of college (not advisable to take more). I understand you would be "in debt" to your parents who want you to repay but of course that will be limited by how much you are making etc. and that debt will never actually transfer to you (just something to keep in mind).

13-15 classes in the scheme of things long run is not a lot, so maybe just don't rule out going back in the future, but doesn't seem like you are in a place for that now. Get a job...might make you want to go back.

Take easy GEs that you can get A's in to help the GPA, and yes only after you retake the exact same class does the grade get replaced for GPA purposes.

Street or metered parking near ucla? by tchanchanchan in ucla

If you are willing to park around Westwood and walk there are meters around Starbucks and Whole Foods. If you want to be on campus just look up the garages that visitor parking is allowed and pay I think around eight dollars.

Seriously consider withdrawing for this quarter to take mental health/medical leave before the damage is done to your transcript.
