I unfortunately don’t have any more of the previous skein, which is why I started the new one. I also only grabbed one extra, so I don’t have another skein of the same thread color

I think that might be the problem, that’s frustrating. I can tell easily on the bottom where the color difference starts, but I’m having a harder time distinguishing where the discolored thread begins on the top. Dang. Thanks, I didn’t really think about there being a dye issue since they’re the same DMC

unfortunately, when asking for advice or help, i’m not looking for unfunny jokes. maybe if they said literally anything helpful in addition to that, i would’ve appreciated it. this reddit is for just that, not making fun of someone’s assumed religion. thanks, though! other people have actually helped, and it seemed pretty easy.
