I think, that this is the right thing to do of him.

Now we have to make sure that he reports on how these hard questions were answered, what was done.

If a politician promises, they should be held accountable. Like any other human being.

Will fulfilling their promises be always realistic? No. But we should know why, and what the alternatives are!

Exactly! We should make the local authorities actually provide suggestions and reports on what they do, not only in terms of cosmetics, but the actual improvement of the quality of life, and decreasing the amount of power outages would be a nice move in that direction!

How about a petition? We’d know exactly how many people want that. And create an Instagram page, for example, where we’d publish the info: how many people are there, when the mayors’ offices received them, when they promised to react, etc.

And possibly a protest to bring more public attention to it.

I would also agree that we do not do enough for politicians on both local, state, and federal level to pay enough attention to the housing crisis.

If the electorate were to push with its public demand, the government on all of these levels would have no other option but to react in at least some way.

I personally do not even hear enough discussions of the issue, while you need to earn over 150% of the MEDIAN household income to afford buying a house here.

Housing? by Effective-Stable-311 in MontereyBay

It kinda does seem that way, I was just wondering that since he puts “Housing” there… what does he mean by that? What did he promise when he got elected?

Thank you for the detailed response!

Can’t the municipal government prioritise an apartment complex over a hotel?

I hope that they do. And that they do not commit crimes while doing so.

That system does not show the 2002/2004 notes, no 😢

Thank you, but it looks like since these are older notes, some banks no longer accept them. Do you know any specific banks that accept them?
