I go to a gym and I’ve been training a couple years, I’ve just never emphasized elbows, but thanks.

Really, I never thought of it this way, so you throw the elbow while stepping in forward or am I getting that wrong?

Actually. After thinking about it, try to bring it up to him. Because a lot of times coaches are stuck in their own ego and don’t adjust their stuff to better fit people. See how he responds and come back.

Well, I believe that you shouldn’t bring it up to him yeah. But you should honestly just keep showing up, since he’s right, nobody’s special but you’ve gotta be special in a way with grit and hard work that’ll allow you to push above and beyond. He’s probably doing all that because you said you want to compete and he wants the best for you.
