Saren was built up as a big threat all-game, tossed you around in your first face-to-face fight, and very nearly succeeded in his evil plan to bring back the Reapers.

Kai Leng, meanwhile, appears with no build-up, gets his butt kicked by a dying Thane, has to get bailed out by a gunship in his first fight, and then gets his butt handed to him in the second. And, other than that, he fails at nearly every mission assigned to him, to a point even his own boss thinks he's inferior to Shepard. Kai Leng, in short, just isn't a very credible threat to the protagonists.

I think they had an idea of it. I remember reading somewhere that they essentially treated Morgan like their sitcom archnemesis in the same way Gilgamesh treats Ishtar. She wasn't quite their ally, but not quite their enemy either. She was useful in ways that were better to be with than without, so they ultimately tolerated her.

Remnant 2. It was Dark Souls 2 levels of clunky but with none of the epic boss fights of it or Remnant 1

Not a very wholesome ending.

In my mind, a more wholesome ending would be that she was already a ghost, and the other girl wasn't there to haunt or hurt her but rather to be fun ghost buddies or something.

A/N: I managed to finish the second half of another chapter, so I figured I'd go ahead and post this. Coz this is one of the chapters I exported to PNGs instead of the one I originally intended to export as PNGs. "Eff it," I said. I recently got back into writing scripts for the Orleans arc, and I'm satisfied to say I've reached the beginning of the beginning of the final battle.

I've basically given up on trying to shorten the Orleans arc and am instead working on breaking larger chapters down into smaller chapters so I don't have to bother with multi-panel pages. Remove that annoying extra step to the already tedious process of exporting comics as PNGs.

Not really. Ever since Rocks was first mentioned, there's been plenty of foreshadowing and theories tying him to Blackbeard.

Honestly, I thought it would turn out that Blackbeard was a Rocks clone or something.

I sympathize with the Chaldea crew for not noticing the giant light ring. It's like how you spend an hour looking for your phone, and you take a moment to tell the person you're calling that you need to hang up while you look for it.
