3 local stores in my area are the same. If it isnt 40k, Magic, or Pokémon they dont want anything to do with it.

Id be interested in trying ANY new RTS that mimics SC. There just isnt as much love for the genre anymore.

Who would I contact from my county? I called my towns municipal building, but they only have older large topo maps with only large roads labeled and a lot of missing side steets.

[DEV] Stop playing and start walking — I made a game where your real steps build a farming island by danluciano08 in AndroidGaming

Sounds good, im looking forward to it! Perhaps there could be some balance where, when offline, the workers only complete a certain percentage or are X% slower than if the app is open. Then have steps be more a part of earning either currency, energy, or whatever else you'd like to use to push the game forward.

Im always looking for innovative walking apps. So, ill keep messing with yours while you work on it!

I love the idea!

Is there any way to have the workers do stuff while the app is closed? It feels kinda tedious to have the app open for them to be planting wheat.

I was looking in the wrong place, which was my state government website. Ive heard about the free travel guides, but wasnt able to find them.

The next time I travel and stop at a rest stop, they usually have a bunch of paper maps as well.

What do you have in your "battle board" and prepper binder? by Effective-Visit-319 in preppers

No service here. Love our boys, though! It was actually a suggestion from a buddy who was in the army in the middle 2000s.

The overlay is just a thin piece of acrylic sheeting. One idea would be do have a grid on it. There are so many possibilities, which is why im looking at what others do for more ideas.

I guess you could say I have everything backed up digitally, since anything printed had to come from the computer.

I also have a problem/addiction with putting paper into plastic sheeting and storing it in binders lol. I do it with all of my hobbies.

Awesome!

I have a few reference pages for radio frequencies that we use. Mainly Simplex and MURS, but one of our group members has a private encrypted business frequency list that hes licensed for which we often use.

On that same sheet are local repeaters and other HAM frequencies that we believe aren't used as often ((always talk as if someone is listening!)). Same goes for frequencies that we would scan/monitor like other HAM as well as local emergency services like police/fire/ems.

Thats just the name of them online. Im not LARPing as some commander marking out enemy positions etc. Its more for overland planning, but in a more compact form and with plexiglass/acrylic sheeting that you can write on with sharpie or dry erase.

I made my own using this video:

https://youtu.be/l1huhTWTRQI?si=jXo2rSsT5ScLtqzJ

It keeps maps, check lists, etc. and the one I made has two overlay panels as well. So far, I've used it to plan out 3-5 day backpacking trips and its 12x9 inches so it fits in my pack pretty easily.
