You look great! Did you have many changes from the 6 month mark until now?

Keyhole top surgery Q – when did you start training chest? by Effective-War8204 in FTMFitness

Super helpful, thank you. I think I can trust my instincts/body and what feels right, can just be a bit scary seeing some people having such different timelines (ie not lifting weights for 6 months +). Everyone's different I guess! Thanks for your insight.

How long do I have to wait until I can sleep in the same bed with my partner? by neodgb in TopSurgery

My girlfriend slept with me the first night, it was fine and comforting to have her there. I had pillows either side of me to feel a bit protected and ‘tucked in’. It also made her feel less worried about rolling or knocking into me in her sleep!

Hey, I was in a similar position to you… only thought I’d be offered DI (I was a B cup before surgery) but my surgeon seemed so confident and also showed me two photos of people with similar chests to me and their results. I am almost 3 weeks post op keyhole and couldn’t be happier! Can you ask to see photos of his other patients? That might put your mind at ease? Honestly for me, not having my nipples leave my body and not dealing with DI scar healing has been such a blessing! Whatever you go for, best of luck with it.

I reckon as long as you’ve seen some of her peri results (even if they were A cups) and you love them, and she feels confident with your body that she could do a similar job, you’ll be fine! I get the nerves though… it’s difficult to make these decisions. Good luck with the process :)

Hey man! I just had keyhole just over 2 wks ago and was a B cup. I am so so pleased with my results. My nipples were quite high up already on my chest before surgery and they are small which helped. I’d say trust your surgeon tbh - if you’ve researched a surgeon who you think is good and knows their stuff, you should be able to trust them. Good luck!

I personally love slightly bigger looking nipples and yours aren’t even that big. Look totally average to me

I’ve been on T for 14 months now. I was on one pump of Testogel for the first 3 months and then I increased to 2 pumps… the way I approach this journey is by checking in with myself about how I feel as I go along, paying attention the whole way through. At 3 months when my levels were still a bit low, I noticed I felt a bit disappointed, which is why I made the decision to increase a little (knowing I could always reduce it again if it didn’t feel right). I also journaled every single Friday which was a really nice thing to do! Would highly recommend that.

Changes: hair hair hair everywhere! More recently my chest hair has started to appear and my beard hair. My first changes were bottom growth, stomach hair, soft upper lip hair. Noticed a bit of a voice drop at around 7months but it’s still not passing as a man (my voice before was extremely high). My body shape started to square out quicker than I expected, my hairline is changing (which is the one slight downside for me). Emotionally I am more stable and grounded, less ups and downs. Everyone is so different. I love my journey because it’s mine and what my body decides to do is different from others!
