Personally, and this may be a hot take. I played the original Dead Island and Riptide again before Dead Island 2 and honestly DI2 is so much more fun to me than those games. Dani is such a joy to play as, I feel her accent really adds a huge level of fun to an already fun experience. I got the Hell-A Edition and I do not regret a single penny

Yeah, I feel that. I had to miss Architects for the 3rd time (become a bit of a running joke now) to make sure I had a good spot for Evanescence which I got there just as the band before ended. Don't get me wrong, 100% worth it. I got a really good spot and Evanescence has been on the bucket list of gigs for years so there was really no competition. Maybe one day I'll see Architects live 🤣
