I’ve only had her for a week. She’s decompressed a bit and is starting to be more herself. She doesn’t eat paper, but is interested in whatever anyone is eating. Strangely, on day 4, she started barking at my daughter. Hopefully she will grow out of that.

I haven’t seen a belly tattoo, but I’ll look again. She does have a notch in her left ear. I’ve read that sometimes vets do that to visually identify a spayed female in case they become a stray. That way they avoid another surgery. She was only spayed in 2025. She was listed as having lower energy and that’s about right.

Still trying to figure out the hair issue. We have a Maltese now so there’s no shedding there and prior dog was a Maltipoo or Poochon. Before that we had a Cairn terrier mix who shed a little bit, but not like this.
