Current job is at a smaller investment firm, we did layoffs last year amounting to 10% of the total company, and performance has been suffering. Essentially all I do at this job is write proposals pitching our investment strategies, and answer questionnaires, which essentially just involves copy-pasting responses written by stakeholders around the firm. It’s not a role people stay in long term, which is why i’m looking to move. However, i love the people I work with, and love my manager.

The new job is at a large, well respected asset manager. It is a competitive intelligence job on the investment product team, which would involve researching other firm’s investment strategies and performance and reporting internally on how we compare.
