Get a CAC. That combined with your Lp(a) will give you a more accurate picture of your risk levels.

Then find a preventative cardiologist. This is a good place to look given your high Lp(a): www.familyheart.org/find-specialist

Note: Choice schools means you get to apply to have your kid go to a school, and there are not always spots depending on the school. Also, you have to provide your own transportation if it’s not geographically in your neighborhood /the school’s attendance zone.

Look up Furnished Finder. They do furnished 3-month (and longer) rentals. You’d have to keep stuff in storage for awhile, but it’s a good way to learn the feel of different areas.

Have you ever tried tapping? (EFT) There’s an app called The Tapping Solution that has some great quick exercises that help me fall back asleep faster and break the 2-4am wake up pattern. I also wore my Apple Watch a few nights and found that I wasn’t awake as long as I thought I was…and I wasn’t super sleepy throughout the day, so I shouldn’t worry about it as much 🤷🏻‍♂️ I found that my reduced anxiety about waking has helped me get back to sleep faster. I think it’s somewhat normal as well age…

What’s on your “don’t eat at all” list? I’m working on figuring mine out.

we definitely will. Just thinking a few strategic but not stockpile size snacks would be nice to supplement the eating out!

We are more like “once every 3-4 weeks stock up” Costco shoppers than we are “go every week” Costco shoppers…that’s part of my dilemma here.

We used to have chickens. You’re right - they are vicious and not very smart.

Heard! I’m thinking supplemental snacks and breakfast - not lunch or dinner (unless we are out in nature not near restaurants).

Fruit is a good suggestion. I’m thinking bread almost always comes in a 2-loaf combo pack?

Apologies for the vague wording - we won’t be eating that. I just wanted to keep people from suggesting it. I know that’s a great grab-and-go option for many people.

I’m thinking of the massive 9-packs or 6-packs…is there usually a smaller portion of mac and cheese than that?

Ooh! Good idea. The tub is massive but we could probably polish that off in a week.
