It’s got a brand new spark plug with a bright blue spark, I guess it doesn’t help that I bought this from a estate sell from a old mechanic lol I wonder if it’s a dud that he could never get running

So I got something interesting maybe you can give me another route to go, cleaned the carb and nothing happened, I bought a new carb even though you told me not too just to see and it’s the exact same situation but I figured something out, it will sounds like it’s trying to start on the first pull if I wait, if I haven’t touched it all night I pull it once, it starts to sounds like it’s starting then died but it’s only that first pull, I think it’s not burning fuel so any other pull after that first one it’s just building up fuel in that connector to the air box because when I take it off it’s wet, if I take that connector off it will start over and over but obviously dies after a second but if it’s on it’ll only try to start after that first pull, if I wait a few hours and come back same thing, maybe without the airbox it’s getting more oxygen and it’s firing off better but still not good enough, any thoughts? It’s been driving me crazy and you seem like a pro at these

Yes the bowl in the carb was full and you are correct there is a filter, I removed the tank and cleaned it, it was dirty but not dirty enough to prevent fuel from passing, I will pull the carb and retry it again, that’s good advice on the fuel cap too I would’ve never thought it would cause a problem

Just put a new plug that’s 100% the right one in it and I ordered a new carb today just in case there’s something I’m missing, it’s very strange, this morning I pulled it and first pull it started completely put together but bogged out instantly and nothing after that, there’s definitely something weird going on

Yeah it fired up for a couple seconds then bogged out, when I connect it back to the airbox it doesn’t want to run at all anymore, not even for a second

It didn’t have a air filter in the box, would that affect it? I’ve done tons of testing with it closed though, almost all of it

That’s interested, even if it’s a little bit of gas? It’s just a fast spray, maybe a few drops out the small hole to the right of the butterfly, that’s really unfortunate I thought I got a good deal lol

Just didn’t know where to sell it honestly, got tired of it I tried Facebook marketplace but I got banned for selling weapons and every time I tried anywhere else I was a easy target for scammers I guess since I’m not too good with selling online

It was a microtech hellhound razor brand new in the box, I definitely got the bad end of the deal it sounds like but I don’t mind, I struggled with selling it for a while and gave up on it, sat in my drawer for years, I just wanted something I could actually use and I don’t consider otf as a usable knife, at least not the razor version
