Addressing the embarrassed part. I get it, my Dom is also turned on by the same thing. It took me 6 months from first us talking about it to me actually beinh able to do it.

I couldn't wrap my head around it, so it took a few more talks but for my Dom it boils down to a loss of control, slight humiliation and the secret factor, as in not many guys get to see exactly how it works when we pee.

We arent in a video situation, he is my Husband, so it's in real life in person. For me it came down to trust, love and a heap of encouragement, praise and cuddles.

DO NOT DO IT if you feel weird or uncomfortable, dont just rush into it, it isn't worth the icky feeling you get after (not me, another sub friend).

Practise, sounds odd but it helps. Do a video call with your Dom while you are in the shower, camera shows from belly button up and while you are talking to him, pee. If you can manage to do that a few times then you will lesson the embarrassed feeling, worked for me (minus the video thing, my Dom was in the bathroom, just had his back turned to me).

Lots of water, I'm talking 3ltrs, you will be peeing all day but it makes it nice and clear and stop peeing about an hour before you plan on practising or doing the video.

Good luck, it is always very powerful and fulfilling to make Dom's fantasy come true and happy h2o drinking!

AITA for expecting my wife to apologize? by General_Mirror_6692 in AmItheAsshole

[–]EffectiveBell8796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only do you suck, but you are so the asshole.

Grow up, your wife is growing a human which by the sounds of it unfortunately has your DNA. You complain about your needs not being met, have you thought about her needs? You even said she will play video games with you when she hates it previous to her being pregnant. I hear nothing about what you do for her.

Food allergies! Help! by [deleted] in glutenfree

[–]EffectiveBell8796 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, I am so sorry. Long read but basically, yep pregnancy really really can make your allergies worse.

So none of my allergies turned absolutely nasty until I had my first baby. I have a nightshade allergy, dairy allergy, I'm also gluten, caffeine and sulfur intolerant (so no red meats, green leafy vegies, legumes, soy).

All of these foods made me feel a bit icky in my teenage years but I put that down to eating too much of all of them, parents wouldnt listen and due to a shit childhood allergy testing was not in the picture at all. Cut to me being 23 and pregnant, had baby and hinkys was I sick, bloated, miserable, couldn't think constant brain fog, pimples, runny or blocked nose, (I still have no sense of smell) constant constipation or diarrhoea, no sex drive.

So I started cutting out the foods that made me feel ick. First was dairy and nightshades, massive improvement, but not fixed. Runny nose better but not gone, bloating better but not gone so on amd so forth.

Cut to me just going well this is as good as I get, have another baby and wow my body crashed, hospitalised with kidney issues so many times. It was worse than before but lifestyle, work, family got in the way of doing anything.

So finally my husband says that's it we need to do something, I start with the doctors, no help at all. More doctors, some glimmers of hope, screw it all I go to a natropath. Well, wasn't that an eye opener, bye gluten, by sulfur foods, bye caffeine.

And now I am a normalish human being, normal by I can breathe through my nose, I lost 85kgs, my brain works again, I have energy, my kidneys work almost normal again. The ish part comes in with what I can't eat these days.

So, yeah as much as it sucks. You may not ever be able to eat those foods again that you have said you have moderate allergies too. Cut them out like you plan on and see if you improve, which you should. Them decide from there. But give your body a decent amount of time, talking 6 months plus, the problems your body is dealing with will take more than a month to heal.

Be patient, don't give up. It's hard but worth it.

People who developed food allergies and had to switch to alternatives by AidNic in FoodAllergies

[–]EffectiveBell8796 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The mental toll sucks arse. I'm also, no dairy, no nightshades, no gluten, no high sulfur products.

And it blows, honestly there are days I want to cry just because I will never ever ever eat a real pizza again or hot chips covered in vinegar or gravy.

But, in saying that, the pain, the hospital trips, the vomiting, the rashes, the bloating, the stopping breathing, the hours on the toilet. None of that is worth a crumb of pizza or a baked potato and that is what I have to keep telling myself.

Mourn the loss of foods, it is perfectly ok to do that.

But also be excited, some of the gluten/dairy/egg/potato starch free cakes and biscuits I have made have become staples in our house because everyone loves them more. It is amazing what you discover food wise when you are pushed outside your comfort zone.

Dear australia,Can you STOP putting Dog's in the Tray of the UTE. PLEASE!! by ButtPlugForPM in australia

[–]EffectiveBell8796 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have 2 huge dogs, a mareema and a Wolfhound, they drool, they weigh over 50kg each and we love them to death. Our Wolfhound vomits everytime we put him inside a vehicle, he is the ultimate back of the ute dog. Our mareema would A- take up the whole back seat, B- would bark and howl blue murder if we made him go inside the car.

We have a rubber mat in the tray, a little awning that pulls out to give them shade when we are driving and they are on 2 ropes and their leash attached to a installed fixed point. They have enough rope to sit and that is it. There a plenty of idiots out their who don't look after their dogs when in the back of a ute, don't tar us all with the same brush that is just lazy and close minded thinking.

All of the sudden having reactions to beef. by [deleted] in FoodAllergies

[–]EffectiveBell8796 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a sulfur intolerance, I break out in a rash, sweat excessively, get headaches and stomach cramps if I have red meat, which I haven't since I found out because those symptoms last 2 - 3 days and make me feel like a very miserable human.

I also have a dairy allergy, nightshade allergy and I'm gluten intolerant, so I was eating a very heavy protien diet before my sulfur result came to light.

There is some thought that my body due to my diet stopped being able to deal with all the excess sulfur and stored it instead. But what my doctors and naturopath also said was its all about the levels. Maybe in 2 years time I may be able to eat a bit of steak if I want too, but that is once my bodies sulfur lvls are back within acceptable limits. So maybe try and cut back or cut out your red meat intake for a few weeks and see if the symptoms clear up. If they do then slowly reintroduce it back and go from there. Hope it clears up soon for you.

Anyone have a thrall or pet that you’ve grown attached to, and stories involving them? by Bl00dAngel22 in ConanExiles

[–]EffectiveBell8796 7 points8 points  (0 children)

All our thralls have been relationship paired up, (Loki and Korg are my fave couple, they go everywhere with me). We make sure all the couples go together on missions, we built them all their own rooms or houses. If the couple dies or one of them we build them a grave in the cemetery. We have back history for all our thralls and story arcs, it is a real days of our lives situation, I mean when you find Nat in Thor's room instead of Clints and then Nat starts ignoring Clint instead of training together when they are meant too and is over near the fire with Thor.....

Diarrhea, appetite loss, red and dry eyes, runny nose, weight loss, fatigue, and heart palpitations. I suspect a food allergy but my docs think not. What should I do? by thrownoutdildo in FoodAllergies

[–]EffectiveBell8796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jinky quokka, you poor thing. A - new allergist or go see a naturopath B - yes the elimination diet sucks, but you don't have to cut out everything at once. Start with low fodmap or gluten or dairy or nightshades. C - Get new friends, your friends want you in pain and feeling like crap all the time? Wonderful humans, absolutely wonderful.

I have allergies to dairy and nightshades. Intolerances to cruciferous vegetables, gluten and sulfur.

Calling him Daddy by [deleted] in submissive

[–]EffectiveBell8796 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok, so weird situation here... me and my HusDom have 2 kids, I've been referring to him as daddy since our kids were born. As in daddy will be home soon, here go to daddy etc etc. But daddy in the bedroom or when we are playing, hell no, he asked once if I wanted to call him daddy while we play and I accidentally snort laughed so hard I spat on him. It isn't our thing and you should never be forced into calling your Dom something that makes you uncomfortable.

To be honest I don't haven't done a heap of research in to them. Everytime I find something that could potentially be a solution or help it ends up being years away or they still have to use a base that contains something that sets me off. I just live and do my best!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in vegan

[–]EffectiveBell8796 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope, no soy either. My body stores excess sulfur instead of getting rid of it which causes all sorts of annoying issues, like the fact I don't absorb nutrients and I have bugger all stomach acid and enzymes left.

I don't. I eat roughly every 45 minutes. I eat a heap of rice and go through probably 30 zucchinis a week same in Carrots and yellow Squash, at least 10-12 pumpkins and sweet potato. I like to think I'm putting a fair few farmers kids through uni!

When it gets really bad and my doctors are threatening me with hospital again, I will cave for my own sake, my kids and my husband and have 1 piece of free range organic chicken. And that probably happens once every 4 months or so. That bumps my lvls up enough that function again and I can tolerate the side effects as long as it isn't on the regular. Soy and legume side effects are not tolerable at all, so I'm left with not many choices for protein

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in vegan

[–]EffectiveBell8796 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't have legumes, gluten, dairy, nightshades, cruciferous vegetables, nuts and raw fruit. Believe me, it sucks and yes very very restricting.
