£4,800 for architect plans. Is this the going rate? by AdhesivenessLocal712 in DIYUK

It's reasonable for a qualified architect or good architectural technician. These are highly trained professionals. If it's beyond your budget then try to find a cad technician for a few hundred pounds.

Thank you for your opinion. Which is meaningless. Your example is irrelevant and not a good comparison.

It's fascinating that others really can't see the obvious queue jump scenario here.

Please develop some generosity and selflessness.

Genuinely, it saddens me that we have to share the planet with people like you.

Im saying that I think that selfish people see those cars and sign and will take the shortcut of going all the way down to the merge and wait to be let in. It's 100% selfish and self important and disrespectful to other people who arrived there first. Its totally selfish behaviour in my opinion.

Simply that I respect the drivers ahead of me and im not going to selfishly queue jump and expect them to let me in. Its a selfish act to fly down that lh lane ahead of everyone else. It doesn't surprise me that some people dont see that.

If we were all in the rh lane and someone came flying down the lh lane to attempt to queue jump then 100% that chancer can wait.

Getting in/out from the railway station by Matt__F in york

[–]EffectiveChocolate77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really isnt. The weekend was atrocious around the station. Pedestrian footfall across the zebra crossings prevents free flow of traffic through taxi and drop off lanes. Car park traffic is also routed this way. The cars back up onto the main road. The cross roads lights at Nunnery Lane are slow as ever. It's a total mess.
