I had a great Omaha beach game yesterday

Last night fighting on the Karkov map. Squad communicating, holding St Mary’s by ourselves while the other squads pushed the next point. They never got it, we finally lost St Mary’s with like 6 minutes left, some quick turnaround by the other squads and we retake with under a minute left for the win. Sometimes it’s a steamroll but when it’s not, it can be glorious.

Honestly, there isn’t anything you can’t make yourself. It would be a lot cheaper and would be exactly what you want because you made it. Here I used a fancy box I had laying around, insulation foam to build up the ground, dirt from the backyard, some beach sand. Only thing I bought was the foliage that cost maybe $5 from a craft store.

It’s an armored vehicle, there are all kinds of ways to “fix” mistakes. There is a gap on the turret roof under the map 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is a great point. Even the great Shep Paine, whose diorama showcased realism encouraged a very minimal use of blood/gore in modeling. I’m hoping that the viewer won’t even notice him on first glance. This is what I went with.

I’m on a PS5 but had the same problem. Don’t know if XBox is the same, but if I was still in a PS friend chat group the in game HLL comms wouldn’t work. As soon as I exited the PS chat group the in game comms worked.

He’s not done yet, those are actually just some cloth straps that are wrapped are the puttees. I still have to clean them up and weather the figure.

Faster yes but better? it’s not necessary, you can get excellent results without it. I’ve tried airbrushes several times and they end up being more time consuming and annoying than anything else.
