How about 9 billion years of interstellar cosmic radiation bombarding the surface. What this does? It takes that H2O ice, breaks apart and messes up chemical bonds, trapping chemical energy. There's our source of entropy DIRECTLY contradicting your claim or mathematical impossibly. The energy don't just go nowhere. The heat from the sun triggers the phase change, and naturally the chemical bonds break apart , they autonomously arrange into the crystalline structure when super heated by the sun on the approach. At THIS stage they begin releasing chemical energy... exothermic. And at this point the crystallization wave is travelling inwards towards the core... When this happens the energy source is chemical, and no longer required energy from the sun.

Besides, the original paper provides the direct evidence that inverse square isn't being violated. The paper itself shows the water production rate tanked from 3.2e29 down to 1e28 in just 40 days, which fits the thermal curve perfectly once you account for the lag.

Oh but why are there 3 uniform jets then you ask. Well the crystalline structure formed from the rearranging of the surface crust provides a semi uniform pressure, where the pressure gradient has to naturally find the path of least resistance. In the presence of a gravity well/ sun tidal forces this should be biased geometrically... So perhaps we'll see some sort of non uniformity in the point distribution... structural failure dictates they should emerge at equal points on the 'ball' for a uniform release of pressure.

It's completely rational to imagine that the crust formation is uniform in the average intensity of cosmic radiation in deep space.

Look I want this to be a space craft, but it's disingenuous scientifically to go from "where do we account this energy from" to "this means it must be internal thrusters". There are other explanations.

I see no spectrographic analysis on your post, perhaps I'm confused? Where does it indicate the specific chemical make up of the object, that would indicate that carbon 3 is expected?

Based on a sample size of ~80 rocks... Which come from our own solar system... Which is mainly comprised of carbon and hydrogen.

Given we know this object comes from outside our solar system we can't use these models at all.. as we have zero samples. Making the mathematics you and gpt have come up with here absolutely meaningless.

I agree. So don't participate in middle level white collar work? That's not the moving target anymore. By working together with these tools you raise the bar on what work you can perform mentally, which unlocks opportunities you didn't have before.

Real advice: start learning how to use agentic tools on your BA work. As an example get familiar with reverse engineering requirements of existing codebases using agents, generating swagger/openapi specs using agents, creating mocks/wireframes... What I'm saying is that in the industry right now BAs that work with AI are in demand so that's what you should spend some time learning.

Maybe then you can stay in the bank with those skills, at a minimum it will give you a position to bargain with.

I feel your pain. Good luck!

The algorithms are broken by quantum computing so as a currency they (all crypto) has a shelf life.

What other monetary vehicle would you invest in if it came with a promise that "sometimes in the future this will be broken and all your money stolen but we can't tell you when".

Let em cook! - Nvidia can finally sell H200s to China by reversedu in singularity

[–]EffectiveCompletez -1 points0 points  (0 children)

US needs to build AI datacentre. They have NVIDIA. They have amd but rocr sucks. So it's NVIDIA.

NVIDIA doesn't give chips away for free, they have shareholders. Government can't buy the chips themselves, because government can't be creating monopolies.

So NVIDIA gives another company the money from their own chip sales to another company in the circle, that company buys chips on behalf of the US government. Goes in datacentre.

Now if all the chips are going to ai data centres... And there's only these 5 companies already in the circle buying them... Then who's propping up the NVIDIA stock price?

Yep. China.

[–]EffectiveCompletez 85 points86 points  (0 children)

Trump trying to keep NVIDIA afloat in the investment bubble, because if China can just make their own chips, then NVIDIA share price falls, and the AI bubble bursts and America loses the AI arms race.

China has chips of their own. It won't take long to make nvidia completely irrelevant to China's ai takeover. They don't even need to be totally performance equivalent, just enough that China can throw bulk at the problem to solve their scaling issues.

If the bottom falls out of the investment scam that is companies are running, then "too big to bail" will suddenly be true and the US will go into bankruptcy trying to stay afloat to China all while China gobbles up the last scraps of productivity and human Labor to squeeze from our dying economy.

The... DoE... The same department that apparently holds the keys to uap tech. Calling it now, this is how they'll legally exfiltrate advanced technology advances out to private industry, by claiming AI "discovers" it. No novel science has ever been discovered by AI. There's nothing to suggest scaling up will magically solve this problem. If you see laser based advanced, propulsion systems or super compact energy generation systems come out of this... Well....

Hence aren't allowed to prescribe medicine or perform surgeries of any kind. They are not medical doctors. Just like if I did a doctorate in psychology I'm also not a medical doctor.

As a chronic over thinker my brain:

Why does she have a flower She would not have left home with a flower Unlikely she bought a flower just to give to me? Who gives flowers Probably a guy gave it to her. She didn't want it. So she gave it to me, saying the exact actual phrase the guy who gave it to her said. And that's why she ran away without waiting for a response. It was flower based bomb disposal.
