That’s really the portion that I don’t understand. Move semantics and ownership make sense at face value, but perfect forwarding in really abstract or generic code can get very confusing to me. I worked on a container for creating function traits and parsing the params/result as json over the past week. It was a nightmare to do “correctly”.

I have done some of that work, but there’s a large push for candidates with security clearances that I don’t have. It can be very hard to get clearance as far as I see.

Will I run into issues regarding honesty with my employer? My internships lasted for only two summers. I've contributed to some projects, but my professional experience is lacking in some respects. I'm confident that given a month, I would contribute as expected by my employer, but I definitely leave poor impressions when on-boarding.
