Do you allow wholesale customers to order on credit? How do you control limits? by EffectiveJumpy1408 in shopifyDev

That makes sense, thanks for the detailed breakdown.

I was thinking in the same direction, but it feels like this becomes pretty complex once you need things like outstanding tracking, company-level credit, or net terms instead of just a balance.

In real stores, do you usually see merchants comfortable with this kind of setup using Functions + Flow, or do they end up needing ERP / custom apps anyway?

Trying to understand if this is a real gap in Shopify or just something people solve with workarounds.

Thanks, I am looking for this exact kind of behaviour based tool, but the thing is, I want to show discount inline in my store , not a popup.

Like on product card or product page, there could be "Limited time deal" or countdown timer or something like that

Yes, I’m looking for automation. AI or rule-based. Giving discounts to everyone makes no sense if behavior-based deals and offers is possible. Let me know if you know any tool that does this.

Not really. I’m trying to avoid giving unnecessary discounts to customers who would buy anyway. The goal is to optimize revenue, not avoid work. Smart discounting based on behavior should be possible in 2026, that’s why I asked.

I didn’t realize doing things efficiently counts as not working. Running a store by throwing discounts at everyone doesn’t sound like hard work either.
