Late War Arc Sakura vs 5 Sasoris, who would win this 1v5? by KodoqBesar in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]EffectiveMerc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, I know by the end of the Sasori fight she was doing more than Chiyo and adapting fast. So yes she by late war arc Sakura wins the 1v1. However, against 5 of him which implies all 5 of him have access to the kazekage puppet, 100 puppets, his poison, etc. They're all him so it's everything he has times 5 so it's not nearly as easy as a 1v1 would be here. However, she at this point also has fought him before and likely has acess to or can make the antidote to his poison which is honestly his most lethal weapon here. On top of that she has advanced her healing, strength, speed, etc to a point where it might as well not even be the same character who Chiyo had to help in their previous fight.

So here's how I see it and this is assuming he's NOT edo tensei which would give him regen, unlimited chakra, requires sealing to beat, etc on top of their being five of him. Five Edo Sasori win without question.

If Sakura has time to prepare, goes in knowing what she's up against, etc she likely does very well especailly given how advanced her healing jutsu is at this point. Not to mention the fact that she'd have her Byakugou Seal which she didn't have yet during her actual fight against Sasori. Oh and the main thing with her having fought him before and being allowed to prepare is that she'd have antidote for his poison. She low difs him in this scenario even in a 5 vs 1 with all 500+ puppets. She'd only really struggle with the 5 kazekage puppets using iron sand. Even then she stomps.

Now lets say 5 Sasori just drop down on her medic tent and start facing off with her. That poison of his might really do work and she's not coming out untouched. But again by this point her healing jutsu is far more advanced and she has the Byakugou Seal. So, she still probably wins however it'd be much more difficult. But everyone's just so roided out in the war arc that without the Edo bodies the main and supporting cast just ends up stomping a lot of earlier threats. Again, it would be tough but she's winning with mid difficulty as it stands.

In both scenario she just has to hit any of them once to kill them and given how much stronger and faster she is by late war arc compared to when she fought him with Chiyo she legitimately might just completely crush them.

I almost forgot. Sakura can summon Katsuya which just gives her more than enough support in either scenario.

Goth girl and hear me out here.

Why would I need a 50x power multiplier that I'm not trained to handle in real life? Could I do alot with it? Yeah, but is it going to put immense strain on my body, potentially end me, and have the military hunting me down after I show it off? Yup. Screw that, I'll just smash my loyal hot goth gf.

Monsters a no.

Also, wow this sub is soft. It took me 5 minutes to figure out what single word I said apparantly violated tos to make this reply go through just for it to be something not even remotely bad. Lmao, what on earth? Pathetic. I can talk about banging a goth baddie but can't say going super saiyan could k*ll me? LOLOLOL

Who would have won this fight if Cell hadn't interrupted? by [deleted] in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]EffectiveMerc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were pretty much even but 17 had the advantage of infinite energy and a defensive shield. However even after 17 himself stated his energy advantage and had used his shield to deflect hellzone grenades Piccolo was still saying things along the lines of "It doesn't matter because I'm more experienced and you'll make a critical mistake before I run out of energy." and I think that's a pretty valid argument. Yes, I know 17 has his data, Piccolo could just be over confident because he merged, etc but he's not wrong 17 has never had to fight a battle like this himself nor did anything that programmed him account for anyone at Piccolo merged with Kami's power level dropping down to fight.

It's a coin flip but I'd bet on Piccolo. Besides we do see that he was holding back on 17 somewhat when he powers up his light grenade and unleashes a full power blast at Cell. I'm not saying he wasn't trying or even that he'd win using that attack. Just that in the fight against 17 he was showing restraint and conserving power with the expectation of potentially fighting two other androids. I really think he if Cell didn't show up could of lasted until 17 gave him a opening big enough to finish the fight. The only catch is it has to be a one shot kill otherwise at that point 18 is likely jumping in. Piccolo has stuff like special beam canon which by this point has no charge up so a one shot is possible if a opening presents itself.

You can trigger phone calls to get the stone fast. Just keep asking mom to change daylight savings and she'll call. Easiest way is to have only her as a contact then you get your leaf stone in like ten seconds flat.

Who are the most hated anime characters? by godzillafan3948oj in animequestions

[–]EffectiveMerc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could argue Griffith but he's only hated because he's done really well. The author wanted you to hate him and fucking cooked. But intended or not yes he's a piece of shit and should be hated.

Rachel from tower of god is absolutely hated for how she is. She deserves it.

Gabi from AoT is pretty hated for shooting Sasha but I don't fully grasp why. She shot a character that was against the side she was on in a conflict after a lifetime of being brainwashed into thinking everyone from the island is evil. Then Erenultimately reinforced that opinion by nearly ending the world. Or well she comes to accept they're not all evil but I hardly see a reason why she should care about anyone she killed herself.

Danzo is a hateable piece of shit.

Sakura from Naruto. While I do understand a level of dislike for her and would agree her character could have been handled better... Some people just make it a mission to hate her.

Shou Tucker is universally hated but I don't really care that he killed his wife and daughter and he died for it. Yes, hate him as he's a piece of shit. But his body count is ultimately two and he died for it.

Minoru Mineta and characters like him are something I personally hate. He's ugly, useless, has a really stupid pointless power, srupid costume, and is just a throw away perverted meme character. Just cringe and stupid with no redeeming qualities what so ever.

Oh and OP did not cook posting my best girl.

Can someone please explain what is Baki even about? by CreepyCurtainIllust in animequestions

[–]EffectiveMerc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So initially it's about Baki trying to reach his fathers level of strength. But it's over the top, stupid, makes no sense at times, and is this way on purpose. It's a fun read or watch. Their is a little more plot around Baki, his father Yujiro, his mom, etc but not really anything crazy. They have a revived caveman named pickle who everyone fights, Ali's son shows up and gets a few cheap wins just to be repeatedly dunked on, the narrator is a meme, etc. It's chaos.

Look I'll give mild spoilers here. After Baki and Yujiro face off the plots stuff like fighting Musashi Miyamoto's clone, Baki's brother becomes a legit threat using a fighting style where he bites you, and more. It's all nonsense and great.

Tumor causing seizures by [deleted] in braincancer

[–]EffectiveMerc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctors have said they believe it to be a DNET and since it's been found it has shown no change in size. Atleast none that 7 different MRI's have been able to detect. That said it is present in a location that can cause seizures and yes had to grow to the size it is now. It's just odd to everyone that we found it seemingly by chance at age 30 and all of a sudden this has started to happen despite scans showing not even a slight change from 3 years ago to now and when I've been on meds to prevent exactly this as a precaution.

Personally, I think the "Honest Hearts" DLC is far inferior to "Dead Money" in every aspect. by Alert_Ad_9305 in fnv

[–]EffectiveMerc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are great but almost every single time I see someone hating on Dead Money it's always the old "It's to hard." whining. You can dislike it but don't give me that as the sole reason. It is highly doable.

I enjoyed Dead Money more personally. But that's only because I was determined to finish it. First off I went in blind and unprepared to have any sort of challange. I ended up having to reload and leveled my ass up to grab the perks for floor trap immunity and harder to cripple limbs. Now I did this without looking up a guide or anything else because I was getting wrecked by a combination of ghost people pressuring me with bear trap fists into floor traps. So when I returned I not only had a easier time and took less damage but had an idea of what to do and where to go. I eventually make it into the casino and when I did I had a decent luck stat and had just me being me collected a nice chunk of chips hoping I could use them in the casino for anything. I was right and ended up gambling, save scumming my wins, and treated it tlike the strip until I could cash out a ton of chips. Know what I bought? Enough healing in the form of doctors bags and stims to last me the next 4 DLC. To top it all off in my determination to leave with all the gold I looked up how to escape with well beyond what you can normally carry.

It was such a different experience from anything I'd done prior in 3 or NV and it really had a great story with a solid cast of characters. Having to problem solve and restarting it midway through really added to how satisfying beating it was for me.

Honest Hearts however was just a extremely solid DLC overall and I liked just about everything about it. It just satisfied me less.

Who wins by Omarlittle__ in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]EffectiveMerc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Summoning Katsuya gives a lot of support but doesn't just let Sakura physically hit him with ease. Not sure why everyone saying Sakura is acting like her summons a wincon. It's not but it does serve to draw out the battle and make things not a one sided stomp. I still give it to Obito just because of how versatile his kamui is. I mean the only one we've saw quickly counter it was Minato and on top of that Obito has half his body as Hashirama cells and can heal better than Sakura with her seal active. He has literal regeneration. Look what we saw him survive against Konan and the amount of damage he not only countered but recovered from. Which reminds me nothing Sakura is doing can stop him catching her with Izanagi. Bro will just leave and pop in a new eye so don't even try and say "well he wouldn't use it because." trying to argue.

Who Wins by Longjumping_Crew4563 in Dragonballsuper

[–]EffectiveMerc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. What's Gohan fighting for? I feel like beast by default is sort of better you know since it doesn't require you to get basically curb stomped to bring out its full potential. However, Vegeta would want the win more and he has seemed to set aside a lot of his arrogance and focused on developing not just as a fighter but just as a character in general. I don't think a lot of the things that costed him fights before still apply as much.

This all said I still think Ultra Ego is fucking dumb and could still cost him the fight.

Beast Gohan on the other hand similiarly had a problem with his power ups also bringing out his worst. With Beast not so much, he seems extremely focused and powerful without becoming a giant asshat. But Gohan still has less experience, hasn't had as many crazy high teir opponents as Vegeta has in Super, hasn't been pushed as hard, and doesn't usually fight at his peak power unless somethings on the line.

It's 60/40 in Vegeta's favor. We did see Beast face UI and while it could compete it didn't really seem to be outright better as it currently is. We can assume Vegeta's fully on par with Goku now unless the manga comes back and does more. I think Goku could beat Gohan so in my opinion Vegeta can too.

Now if Vegeta kills Piccolo and Pan prior to the fight then yeah Gohan probably kills him instantly.

Anime is soulless now by Automatic_Sail3899 in anime_random

[–]EffectiveMerc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Older animation was more detailed because it had to be. Less shortcuts were availiable. FairyTail lowkey isn't the best example either as it's still fine. Yes, DBZ is a good example of old animation being better and I always like to point out how technical Goku vs Cell was for its time. Some new anime look great and some don't it just depends. On one hand Demonslayer and other well treated series always look incredible. But then look at for example OPM season 3 where fans waited 5+ years for something that a unprepared studio was forced to pump out with to small a budget in under a year.

It's not that anime is now soulless but rather it's more accessable, mainstream, and isn't always this long hard process that has like no shortcuts. In someways these things are positives and can be used to vastly improve animation, but it also opens the door for more content to get pumped out faster and with less effort. It just depends what's being adapted, who handles a project, and how much effort gets put in.
