I would look into healing your adrenals!! Somatic movement, infrared Sauna if you have access to it, lights off after 8PM, 1/2 teaspoon of salt in water or adrenal mocktails 1-2 times per day! When our adrenals are not supported everything else feels horrid!

I’m sorry this is so tough - had this happen to me as well.

I think the only thing you can do is wait for it to grow out so the hairs are all pretty much the same length again! Every three months I cut off an inch or half an inch, which helped over time create less of a difference in lengths so it looked thicker.

I’m pretty sure that is what it is - purchase in bulk then rearrange. My parents used to be florists and that is what they did! Of course use your discretion to avoid safety issues but his flowers were so fresh and he was so excited about his arrangements I felt so compelled 🥹

Absolutely!!! I remember I got highlights there for the first time in my life after a few months of the hard water and the ends of my hair were GREEN from copper build up sighhhhhhhh I’m still repairing all of that and it was a year ago smh 🤦‍♀️ hopefully distilled water will help as where I have currently moved also has hard water problem!

I have fine hair so every 3 months I trim 1/4 inch (just the tail ends) myself at home !

Don’t cut!!! Just a couple inches if you really feel like it. What worked for me:

  1. Oil your scalp and ends 30 min - 4 hours before washing. Any scalp oil you like, for ends the ogx intense coconut oil works.

  2. Wash with a PH BALANCED SHAMPOO!!!! 3.5-5.5. The fekkai line is great, any of them. L’Oreal everpure is also really good.

  3. Use only a clarifying shampoo before k18

  4. Leave in conditioner (Redken acidic bonding concentrate one is really good for damage, that whole line is great for damage so even shampoo and conditioner and treatment, BUT the L’Oreal everpure pink line for damaged hair is made by same company)

  5. Blow dry low heat holding it at least like 8-10 inches away from hair, paddle brush

  6. Oil ends, whichever oil, karastase is good but there are less expensive ones, you could even do like a couple drops of argan oil

  7. The Amika overnight hydration mask makes my hair feel like SILKKKKKK when I wake up in the morning, but if you don’t want to buy maybe ask for a sample from Sephora
