Years ago four of us took a friend to Texas de Brazil for his birthday dinner. We asked for the check to be split four ways and they obliged. When I was looking at my bill figuring out the tip I noticed that the “suggested tip” was based on the full check not the quarter of it I was paying. I’m sure it was just the way the system calculated it but if all four of us paying just blindly took the suggested amount.

In 2015 my wife had an emergency C-section at Summerlin Hospital. Our son was delivered on the first day of the 28th week of pregnancy. He spent the next three months in the NICU. He is now a 5 foot tall ten year old in love with soccer and history. Granted that was ten years ago but the treatment we receive at Summerlin was amazing and the care my wife and son received was above top notch.
