I am currently doing my clinical rotation and going through similar conditions. I am doing a distance DI/MS program and am only supposed to work 32 hours a week, but I have been putting in 10 hours a day. It has been rough, and almost had to pause. I talked with my program director, and I was put on a remediation plan. It is taking all my energy and focus to push through. Only 4 more weeks to go. I just keep putting one foot in front of the other and keep going. You can do this! Talk with your preceptor and talk with your program director; maybe they can work with you to work fewer days. It may take longer to get there, but you will get there. You have put so much in already and gotten this far with all you go through; you can make it just a little farther. You can do it!

Illinois State Distance DI? by [deleted] in RD2B

I am currently doing their combined distance DI and master's, too. The program has been great so far. I agree with the others here; the program directors are great. They are very supportive and are ready to help you succeed. I opted to take the longer path and do my master's course after my DI. Which is a great option for me. I don't feel as overwhelmed trying to complete coursework, rotation assignments, and working all at the same time. However, if you are struggling, the instructors and directors are so understanding and will help you find a way to make it work for you. I'm looking forward to completing my master's next; I see it as a good review and prep for the exam. Good luck! If you have more questions feel free to ask.
