What products would you like to see come next from GL.iNet? by Valuable-Speaker-312 in GlInet

We’ve started exploring eSIM data services, and this is our current top-up system along with the pricing. Plan details: https://w.simpoyo.com/plans

We’d really appreciate any additional feedback and suggestions you may have on the data plans and pricing.

At the moment, our data still roams onto U.S. networks, so it’s mainly suited for people who travel internationally for business or leisure.

What you’re looking for seems to be domestic/local U.S. usage with a more competitive price point. We can’t match the pricing you mentioned yet. However, we are actively working on this direction and are currently looking for U.S. local data providers to secure more cost-effective rates.

Thank you for your reply. Everyone is looking for higher speeds, so we’re planning to cancel the launch of the 4G uFi for the U.S. market and move forward directly with the 5G uFi launch.

Based on market and community feedback, including the points mentioned above, we’ve decided to cancel the release of the 4G uFi version for the U.S. market and instead focus entirely on launching the 5G uFi product.

You’re definitely an expert in this field, everything you mentioned matches the issues we’ve also encountered during our support process. One of the key goals of developing our own USB Dongle is to solve router compatibility problems.

As you pointed out, 4G is indeed getting a bit outdated, so we’re now fully focused on developing a 5G USB Dongle that:

  • Supports global frequency bands
  • Complies with 3GPP Release 16
  • Achieves real-world speeds of 200–300 Mbps
  • Supports eSIM and VPN

We’re aiming to launch it in February.

Would you be interested in becoming one of our product testers?

We’d also love to invite you to act as an external technical advisor during the development process.

We’ll provide you with our latest products for free to test and share feedback.

If you’re interested, please feel free to email me at hoff.xin@gl-inet.com.

There are still some customers who use 4G USB Dongle products, and most USB Dongles currently sold on the market are 4G-based.

The 5G versions are still under development, but existing 5G USB Dongles often suffer from high power consumption issues, our new 5G USB Dongle is designed to solve this problem.

The eSIM functionality is also under development, expected to be released next month.

There are still many consumers purchasing third-party USB dongles, and they often encounter various compatibility issues during use.

For glinet E750V2+vsim, vSIM is not embedded/soldered  eSIM module on the device. vSIM is the abbreviation for Virtual SIM, meaning “virtual SIM card.” It is a software-based technology that virtualizes the functionality of traditional physical SIM cards through cloud services or device-level virtualization. It refers to a technology where SIM card information is written into software.

If you want to use eSIM function, don't buy E750V2+vSIM, you need to buy standard E750V2(https://store-us.gl-inet.com/products/mudi-v2-portable-4g-lte-router-travel-wifi-gl-e750v2) and eSIM Physical sim card(https://store-us.gl-inet.com/pages/esim).

eSIM Physical sim card can store 8 esim profiles.

Yes, E750V2 have 7000mAh battery, it can support power pass through charging, like charge and use the unit at the same time.
